sunday53 replied to sunday53's topic in Helpdesk
aye, I have come across this method['']...but, am in need of some serious recording time...ie, way beyond what is remotely, never mind humanly possible with this procedure or way of doing it. thanks though Shammy. -

hello. i just bought a second hand evga mb [as above]. built up the system as such. i didn't put any devices attached to mb, only the grafix card[test purposes]. this system uses a passive heatsink, no fan on the cpu cooler. the build went reaonably well. however, when attempts are made to boot[many of these-loop, loop ], nada. the fan on grafix card[a single] does a song 'n dance but, can't even get to post. after about a sec, the sys shuts down. I have tried alot of things to sort this with no joy, not close even---CLR CMOS, changed polarity of fr. panel[case] cable/wire interface connectors, changed out memory, the psu is sufficiently powered to manage the board. the cables are all seated and connected correctly[24 pin, 8 pin and additional molex[4 pin for more grafix power]. the fact that the board starts up as such is keeping me interested but, not much else is in this case . am getting to the place where i want to get rid of it now...nearly have enuff. ...it keeps doing same thing, jumps into it's boot but, fails to take off. ideas, please :( (

Hello. I am seeking some help with the time limit to the recording ability in sound recorder[XP Pro]. the standard[default]is 60 seconds. some of you may know this or of it. Please, please, please, do NOT tell me or advise me or suggest to me, that I shud ''go get one of the 3rd party apps'' that will do the same thing w/o a time limit. If I wanted one of those apps, I would go get one of them. easy enuff. The need to have the sound recorder's time limit set differently is the reason for me posting this request here. I have looked as best as am able in the registry for a key[ or similar] to change the default time limit. there was nothing in there that makes any relevant offers or reference/s or 'sense' to the time limit that I could understand or grasp. One option is the IDA Pro. the program enables analysis of the code within an app and thus manipulate/change the outcome or the functioning of a program. I hear of a fair few ppl out there as well who want the recorder and want to use it 'exclusively', not a third party product. there is no sort or fix available/published that I could find so, am looking here. what d'ya say...? any hope? Hi. I am looking for IDA pro. It is a code/app decompiler[and debugger ?]. tried 'search' on site but, no such item was found. thanks ahead, edit:not sure of being able to bump so, i didn't but, there are 27 views to this subject. can someone[someone must have the app needed?] please send on a link or point to where I can have a go at this. it may prove useful to someone else along the route. cheers. sunday53
