Boy!!! I REALLY wish people would take the time to read this before they post. This post pretty much sums up everything we need from the member/person in need to be able to help them in an accurate, timely manner! I really do hate it when someone labels their topics with words of immediacy. Hey, we all know you want your problem fixed now, but keep in mind, this is not our full-time job. We do this because we like to help others and we love our carreers (hobbies for some). So, be patient. We will help you to the best of our ability, even if we come up short. Nobody's perfect. And if they were, they wouldn't need our help to begin with. LOLOLOL!!!!!!

great info simbad3. If the ps3 is anything like the ps2 was (which I doubt), you would need a 3rd party mod chip installed to be able to play ANY copied games. now, with that being said, I don't have a ps3, so quite frankly I don't know if this would be the case or not. I may be talking out of my (_x_)!!!! Side Note: I plan on getting one for my birthday though! I only wish Sony still made them so they would play ps2 games too like the first ps3 consoles that came out in the beginning. I have a crap load of ps2 games that I still like!!

@JTHA80, always open the included READ ME file (usually just a notepad file) within the unpacked folder. It will tell you how to use the crack, no matter if its just a copy/paste (like this one was), or a serial/keygen, etc. Those 'READ ME' text files can come in handy every once in a while!

try daytrader's solution. Workgroup is the default OU for Windows home/soho network setups. you could just rename your group alltogether and make sure ALL pc's are in the same named unit (group). this may sound dumb, but I've come across such, make sure you are running as admin. you can't hardly do anything without that admin privilege. thats why most of us network admins give office troublemakers different privilges to different OU's in the network. hee...hee

@Designer_King, it sounds like its just a hardware failure. best thing to do is just dont use it. if you need the extra port, buy a small plug-in usb hub that is powered from the MoBo, and plug it into the other working port. you can get a 4-port hub for less than $10 USD. Im using one that I bought at my local "Dollar Store" and it works great. Parker216 _

good job @fennfam3! and way to go @oneoone! as I stated in another post in the forum, RAM can make a PC do some stupid and wacky things. sometimes these malfunctions wouldn't seem to be connected to RAM at all , but if you think about it, ALL instructions travel through the RAM at some point, so it is always worth a try to give it a look!

another thing I just thought about. get a copy of Hiren's Boot CD from the Apps section. you can boot from DOS right off the CD because it is already loaded on there. plus, you can partition and do many other things. I use use it A LOT and have done this very thing. you could always pull the drive out and slave it into another pc, just open My Computer and right click the drive and select format. be sure to use NTFS.

yeah, that other screen is certainly not compatible if its missing a needed connector. the old screen uses 2 connectors for a reason. be VERY and I mean V-E-R-Y careful when mix-matching components. that is a terrific way to burn out any number of poly-fuses or caps/diodes on the MoBo real quick. then before you know it you've bricked it and its worthless. really hate to see that happen to you. you are going to have to research this extensively online. this isnt something we can just tell you how to do in a few simple steps. I would begin by looking up everything and anything I can about leech servers. I will do some research and give you some links on any helpful info I find.

LOL! I was wondering why you would want to use Vista anyway! Unless you have a specific reason, or just to learn multi-boot. It sounds like your Master Boot Record got corrupted.

well sama, with all the things youve treid and had no success, I would say send it to toshiba if its under warrant like fennfam said. if its out of warranty, then take it to a pc shop you can trust. sorry pal, wish we could help you more. let us know if there is anything more we can do.

before doing anything on it, look in my computer and see if it is recognized. format it with FAT32 if it is under 8gb, and NTFS if it is bigger than 8gb. there is a switch on the side. push it forward (toward the useable end of the stick), if this usb stick is a push out type then the switch may or may not be on this type flash drive. if formatting doesnt work and you try it out on another pc, then the drive is more than likely bad. fennfam, daytrader and bichoo all have great suggestions. I assume since you have a boot screen that the onboard graphics chip is fine, or you wouldnt see anything, so try the things that fennfam suggested. Check your POST, go into BIOS settings and make sure the POST boot screen is activated and do as daytrader suggested and look to see if the monitor POST checks OK. also, go into bios settings and see if the monitor is found by the BIOS check. also check to make sure that you have the laptop monitor selected as main monitor, you can do this in control panel. now, Ive never had a bad memory stick cause a monitor to go out, but, I have had bad ram sticks cause other crazy things to happen (btw, check memory installation check in POST check screen as well) so check them as bichoo suggested. One question: is the laptop responsive at all? I mean, can you tab your way through the screen and shut it down? If you can, try this using the hdmi monitor and see if the lappy is responsive at all. This could mean the difference in fixing it yourself and sending it to the manufacturer. I hope something here helps, I think everyone has covered pretty much everything that could be causing the problem. I really dont think that the screen needs to be replaced if you are getting the POST (or boot) screen. Please let us know any info you have after trying these things out. Good Luck!!!! Parker216 _

I searched for that error. none exists. are you sure you copied it down right? the closest thing I came to was mss32.dll. check it again and let us know. if this IS right then try the link below... this is a great site that I use nearly on a daily basis for my clients....it is The Elder Geek.
