Hi y'all ;p Been planning on making this thread a while now... so long it's been since I made mention, most mods aware that time may have surmised that I've lost sight of that goal... Regardless, I've come to share with the CW community some updates on my progress using a Wacom Tablet and various graphics softwares, like Photoshop, Fireworks, Illustrator, Manga Studio, Paint Tool Sai and so on... With my vague IT background, I've explored many different softwares in the past and always looking for new improvements and other alternatives to doing digital art. So the purpose of this thread is to post my WIP (work in progress) art so ppl here can see and perhaps critique and suggest a few pointers, be it to do with drawing or with software. Ok, so currently I'm learning or training myself in how to make full use of Manga Studio to create art in it from scratch. I was successful in my 1st attempt creating lineart, here is what I managed to do so far:- Here is a scan of something I completed inking this morning, where I plan on inking and coloring it inside Manga Studio, using mainly the mouse (this time around):- soo...what u guys think (so far) ??
