Just upgraded both my iphone 5 and ipad 2 to IOS7 so will let you know any differences.

(usually any differences in in battery useage is down to people playing with the new system instead of using the item as they would normally)

I'm waiting for the jailbreak to update. I've been stuck with my iPhone 4 and the IOS 6.1.3 for too long... without many handy apps that I missed...
And I totally agree with Mr G :D

As promised I have found the battery capacity goes down fairly rapidly when I'm playing with my phone but I have taken out all the background apps which you can now do with the muti task feature. This has improved things quite a bit. My ipad doesn't seem to have any real noticeable difference so far. More reports as I get used to the system and usage goes back to normal.
