Hi..

 

 

runing own cyber cafe (node -14)..  i request to plz provided some software to safe our node system. bcz. lots of user can insall unwanted software in when they r surfing internet.. I am tottaly bother abt this issue.. after 3-4 day need to install fresh OS..

 

Any one can install any softeare in system (clint side) when surfing internet.

 

they open some time pron site in clint side styem  .. then virus attach ...

 

sow to block in node side or single system in cyber cafe.. to user not install any software or not access pron site ...

 

 

 

some time login in windows XP (guest account)... but some people install software

 

so plz suggest to which softeare to use to block software installing and block pron site access..

To block users from installing software, you can give the user permission as normal user. To do this Just follow the following steps.

1. Go to MyComputer 
2. right click then select manage
3. Then click on the Local users and Group
4. Click the users.
5. then right click on the corresponding username
6. Go to Properties Tab
7. Remove the administration privileges then add "users"
8. This will avoid the users to install software.

but

 

one issue with software installing methad is .. if i am changed permission to administrator to user.. but some software r installing only changed installing path like c to d drive and software r install.. like software IDM,. YOUTUBE DOWNLOAD MANGER.. ETC..

You make an Admin account and you make a user account. Leave the user account signed on. The user will not be be able to install anything, it shouldn't matter what path they try to install too.

rahulko25 I'm Cissco certified and Microsoft certified and I would tell you to do the same as Darko told you

 

If you are letting users run systems at your cyber cafe as an Admin then you are risking your whole network to a world of problems

 

Folks on my network can't install anything without my permision
