Danm 20 Report post Posted July 4, 2014 How can I tell bitdefender to not look at a folder? I just installed it on my system and it will delete any keygen or patch as soon as I download it. Thanks for any help
eatmyshorts 201 Report post Posted July 4, 2014 If you have the anti-virus edition you can't stop it scanning particular folders however, what you can do is go into the quarantine (show files), scroll down the list to the ones that you didn't want removing and there are 3 icons to the right of each file..the furthest icon should be restore, click that and it will restore the file back to the folder. You might have to do that a couple of times before it leaves it alone.
Danm 20 Report post Posted July 5, 2014 Thanks for the reply. I think I found where to exclude a folder and I will see how that works.
bbbnnn 4 Report post Posted July 6, 2014 You can add an exclusion on Antivirus Settings > Exclusions menu.
eatmyshorts 201 Report post Posted July 6, 2014 That would depend on which version they have..
