Catman_29 294 Report post Posted December 7, 2014 Hello Guys and Gals. Here's another Noob question for you. I have an Asus M5A99X EVO R2.0 mobo, default memory speed 1866, O.C. speed 2133. I also have 16Gb of G.Skill 2400 Ripjaws memory. My question is will these run smoothly together at any speed they are happy without messing with the clock or voltage? I just want to put it together and run it with Win 7 Ultimate. I can't get a straight answer out of either manufacturer. Anywhere from "Go for it!" to "Too difficult. Get 1866 memory". http://www.asus.com/us/Motherboards/M5A99X_EVO_R20/ http://www.gskill.com/en/product/f3-2400c11d-8gxm Any easy answers for this old coot? Thank you all
