HELP ! Xbox 360 Arcade Console [RESOLVED]

i bought a used Xbox 360 Arcade Console (ID99) on eBay a few days ago for my grandson.

the damn Xbox 360 is passworded & I am not able to do anything with it.

is there a way to hack/crack the password so I can gain access to it ???

the seller has not responded to my request to supply a password.

Just in case you didn't quite catch what buttons to press....

 

LT, RT, X, Y, LB, RB, D(dpad), Y, U(dpad), D(dpad)

Start by going to the SYSTEM tab and select CONSOLE SETTINGS. Scroll all the way down to the bottom and select SYSTEM INFO. When you open up this screen, just hit these buttons in this order: LEFT TRIGGER, RIGHT TRIGGER, X, Y, LEFT BUMPER, RIGHT BUMPER If it doesn't work right away, just try it again.

after 2 days on the phone with xbox 360 technical support (& many dropped calls) tech support was able to walk us through removing the password.

all is working normally now & grandson is now playing GTA2.

i was told by tech support that every xbox 360 is unique & different (by serial number) so me posting how it was fixed would not help anybody elce with the same problem.

my only advice for others is call 360 technical support (google for phone number)

this problem is resolved
