It features destructible environments and gravity manipulation. It allows lead character Jackie Estacado to use The Darkness while at the same time use firearms. There is more focus on the aspect of Darklings, with there now being only one primary Darkling which will hold greater importance and will be more involved in the storyline and who is useful in all situations. It will be able to interact with the environment by using items such as a worker drills to attack and torture your enemies and it will also be able to use standard weaponry such as pistols to attack or threaten them. Jackie can use the environment to his advantage, such as using car doors as shields and parking meters to eviscerate or impale enemies.Unlike in the first game, Jackie can use both his weaponry and The Darkness in public places. The game textures are more aligned to the comic book and are designed using a cel-shading technique, similar to the style used in Sly Cooper and inFAMOUS, to give this effect. The style was achieved with the development artists hand painting the majority of the game assets, instead of relying on digital methods to create a comic book style.Jackie can also use his demon arms for 'finishing moves', whereas the player can execute the enemy in ways such as ripping people into two, and your darkling can also use special attacks, such as urinating acid on enemies. There's a new feature whereas each kill, heart collected and enemy urinated on add towards Jackie's 'dark essence'. a substance that clings to people and objects that have come in contact with The Darkness, which can be used to make purchases from a tree of abilities from 'talent shrines', such as 'black hole' which allows Jackie to charge a enemies' heart with energy and throw it to create a void of vacuum encased in darkness, the ability to see and attack through walls, 'swarm' which allows Jackie to disable and stun multiple enemies at once, and 'gun channeling' which gives Jackie unlimited ammunition and deals supernatural damage for a short period of time. The character and player will feel more uncomfortable in light, with exposure to light resulting in blurring of vision occupied with a high pitched ringing.Light will be more of a physical threat as well with there having a 'light vs darkness' feel. Through the DART 6 bio-chip technology implanted in their head, players can slow down time and breach the digital world around them to take down their foes using a variety of upgradable hacking mechanics. The game has been described as a "kind of mix between Crysis-style first-person shooter action and the clean sci-fi world of Mass Effect". A four-player co-op mode has been confirmed, with a separate campaign based on missions from the original game. If a saved file is imported, over 1,000 variables will be pulled that will help shape how the final chapter is experienced. If there are no saved files available, there will be no origin- story comic for new players to help them make quick decisions like there was in Mass Effect 2.Imported characters' appearance and class will be changeable, with more features and hair-styles included in the character creator than in Mass Effect 2. Commander Shepard will always start the game with some powers. Upon finishing the game, there will be a New Game+ option that allows players to continue playing after the main story ends or start again with their finished Shepard and collect items they missed the first time around. The game will have 82 minutes of cut-scenes. Mass Effect 3 will have three pre-set campaign modes: Action Mode, Story Mode, and RPG Mode.In Action Mode, conversations will have automatic replies and a normal combat difficulty. In Story Mode, conversations will have manual replies and a minimal combat difficulty. In RPG Mode, conversations will have manual replies and a normal combat difficulty. This last mode is reflective of the typical Mass Effect series experience. Overall, the RPG elements in the game have been improved over those in Mass Effect 2, with a more detailed leveling up system and increased weapon customization. To level up characters, players will have skills that start along a single path and then eventually splinter into two branches where they can select only one upgrade or the other along a sequence of possibilities.Players will also be able to customize their weapons with different scopes, mods, barrels and ammo types. There will be 25 weapon mods total — five per weapon type — and each of them will have multiple power levels to collect. The game will include mini-games (although planet scanning is unlikely to return) and Hammerhead and Mako missions. To select dialog options, players can use Kinect to speak their choices instead of selecting them with a controller Mass Effect 3 Debut Trailer http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BnEej1RfqTs Mass Effect 3 - Fields Of Blood Trailer http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bouqcYlzIE4&feature=related Mass Effect 3: Gameplay Demo http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Of8bi3lU-Os Max Payne 3 Developer(s) Rockstar Vancouver, Rockstar New England, Rockstar London, Rockstar Toronto Publisher(s) Rockstar Games Writer(s) Dan Houser Engine RAGE, Euphoria Platform(s) Microsoft Windows PlayStation 3 Xbox 360 Release date(s) March 2012 Genre(s) Third-person shooter Mode(s) Single-player, multiplayer Gameplay Details Max Payne 3 is a third-person shooter in which the player assumes the role of its titular character, Max Payne. Max Payne 3 will feature the over-the- shoulder zoom aiming and cover mechanics. However, these will just serve as garnish to the game's classic run-and-gun shooting. Max Payne 3 will also make return of bullet-time in action sequences, which the franchise is notable for. In bullet time it will be possible to see every bullet make a hole in your foes. A "Last Man Standing" mechanic, which gives Max a reprieve from death for a small period if he's got one painkiller on him. If the player is able fill the enemy that delivered the wounding shot with bullets he'll recover enough energy to soldier on. Max Payne 3 retains the shoot-dodge mechanic from the previous games. Max will also be able to stay grounded after a dive, which enables him to shoot 360 degrees around. Rockstar has blended physics and animation, so that when Max dives around, he does so appropriately according to his surroundings. Through advanced utilization of the Euphoria physics engine, shooting and killing enemies in Max Payne 3 will look noticeably more realistic than in any preceding Rockstar games as well.New to the series are cinematic action movements, essentially interactive cut-scenes. Max must for example leap off a factory balcony, grab hold of a crane's hook and shoot at a crowd of thugs while swinging around in slo-mo. Should a thug get too close, Max can throw a few elbows and feet around to disarm and kill them in one crunching blow. Players each choose two fighters from the Street Fighter and Tekken series, both sets of characters are controlled using the Street Fighter 6-button system, however it has been revealed that the Tekken characters will be able to perform Tekken style combos using the primary four buttons in a similar fashion to the Tekken 4-button system. These fighters can be switched out normally, or during certain combos. As fights go on, players build up power in a three sectioned meter at the bottom of the screen referred to as the "Cross Gauge", which allow the player to perform various techniques depending on how much of the gauge is filled, such as EX Attacks, Cancels, Super Arts and various Cross techniques detailed below. As opposed to the other crossover fighting games released by Capcom, in which the player must eliminate all the opponent's fighters to win, victory conditions are more similar to Tekken Tag Tournament, in which the first player to have one of their fighters' health bars reduced to zero loses the round, the player who wins the most rounds winning the match. The tag team element of the game is heavily emphasized, with players being able to switch between the two characters in their team in a variety of manners.Switch Cancel allows players to switch partners in the middle of a combo, whilst Cross Rush combos involve launching the opponent into the air before swapping partners and continuing the combo. Cross Arts, which require a full Cross Gauge, allows players to chain together each character's Super Combo in one straight attack, whilst the Cross Assault mechanic allows players to simultaneously control both characters in their team until the Cross Gauge runs out. Street Fighter X Tekken features two new game mechanics: the Gem System and Pandora Mode. Players equip up to three gems to their characters, which provide different stat boosts depending on the type of gem. Six varieties of gems exist: attack, defense, speed, vitality, assist, and Cross Gauge. Each gems and its effects are designated by a specific color, and will activate as the players fulfill certain conditions during battle. When a character on a player's team has less than 25% health remaining, that character can be sacrificed in order to activate Pandora Mode, which gives the remaining fighter increased strength and an infinite Cross Gauge. However, this state has a time limit and the player will automatically lose if he/she cannot defeat the opponent before the Pandora state runs out. The game will feature various online options. Two players can battle on the same team, one controlling each character, and face off in four player matches. Scramble mode allows four players to fight simultaneously in pairs of two. The game will also support online training modes which can be played competitively or cooperatively with two players, as well as support the Fight Request feature. Other Capcom games will be referenced in the game, such as Dino Crisis, which has a stage based around one of its levels. They can also invite your friends to send their Sims to perform for you and customize the stage in venues with special themed backgrounds, props, lights and special effects. Players can throw objects at performers - ranging from flowers to lettuce. Choosing not to use SimPort will not change gameplay with any interactions that do not require SimPort.A player can unlock backgrounds, props, and costumes for their sim if they choose to use SimPort. Sims who visit a player's town via SimPort will default to the traits, clothes, and objects that they have locally in their game. Players can message other players while their Sims are performing in other towns. Starlight Shores: Starlight Shores is a new town that is included in Showtime. Careers: In Showtime, players can have their Sims become magicians, acrobats, and singers. The player controls Captain Martin Walker who is accompanied by a Delta Force bravo team to rescue a U.S. Army Colonel who remained behind in Dubai. To accomplish this goal, players must traverse the city to neutralize enemy threats and natural disasters to find and recover the lost Colonel, named John Konrad. As the player progresses, better weapons and equipment will become available to accomplish goals more easily. Squad commands will also be available, allowing the player to direct their teammates to perform certain actions or move to certain areas. The game focuses on the natural sandstorms of Dubai to provide dynamic terrain changing during gameplay, similar to Fracture and the Red Faction series. This is supported by an unpredictable engine that randomizes when and where sandstorms will arise, as well as how harsh they will be. Sandstorms may open or close paths to the players as well as turn advantages in a firefight. A multi-player mode will be included as well, though the extent of this has yet to be revealed. Yager describes the multiplayer as a campaign that expands the single-player experience. In addition, there will multiple mode types with at least a few focusing on terrain deformation and expansion.
