How do I use this crack ?

Here you go open crack folder where you found crack file (with .exe)copy that file and paste it in the folder where you install DVD X Studios CloneDVD 5.5.0.6 thats it

Correct, according per file contents, you are going to run the .exe, then unzip the .zip, inside that, will be your patcher for the .exe. Please let us know if you still need assistance, thanks!

Here is a step-by-step to run the crack to make program work.

• unrar the file.
  
• once unrared, open the folder.
  
• Double click CloneDVDSetup to install. (see pic below)
  

• Once CloneDVD is installed go back to the folder where you unrared at and open the folder "mpt" (see pic below)
  

• you will then see "clonedvd.5.0.1-mpt" and open file. (see pic below)
  

• Double click the crack program "clonedvd.5.0.1-mpt".
  
• This will run the crack program (see pic below)
  

• Click anywhere on the transformer figure.
  
• Once clicked you will get the following and click the 'Yes" button. (see pic below)
  

• When you click the yes button it will open a folder. You want to go to the folder where you installed CloneDVD and double click on "Configure.dll" (see pic below)
  

 

Thats all you have to do. Close out of the crack program and your CloneDVD should now be full version.

This is the correct procedure. Most of the time its a dll that file that needs to changed, or its done the same way by of .exe, either way, it works.

Thanks for that - and that's just it, I've clicked the Transformer multiple times and nothing happens (and I've got Windows 7 Home Premium, the 64 bit edition if that makes any difference)

It sounds like your antivirus and/or malware program is blocking it from working when you click on the transformer figure. Disable all anitvirus/malware programs and then it should work fine. If not, then there is someting else blocking it at which I have no idea what that could be. I downloaded from the same link you did and tested and worked fine for me.

Thanks for your help - however, the only program that has real-time protection is Microsoft Security Essentials, and I turned that off. Then, when I opened the .mpt file the transformer image was gray and clicking on that only, eerrmmm, colorized it.

 

I uninstalled CloneDVD, restarted my computer and started the process from scratch. The same thing happened - the transformer was now grey and only became red and blue (with a hint of grey) upon clicking upon it.

 

...and I have no idea what I can do now (and I very much assume that it's ok that the crack seems to be for CloneDVD 5.0.1.6 while the program itself, in the download is, according to the folder's name, 5.5.0.6?)

Worked find and still does for me, with XP

Win 7 is supported so that should not be an issue.

 

What happens when you run the program? Does it give you any errror? Perhaps its cracked and found the file the first time around.

I am clueless on why it will not work for you. I have win7 ultimate 64 bit / security essentials/ malwarebytes/zonealarm and had no problem installing it on my system.

The only thing I can think for you to try is to:

1. Unistall the program
   
2. reinstall
   
3. run program
   
4. shutdown program
   
5. then try the crack.
   

That is what I did when I tested the crack to verify if it worked. I realize this doesn't make much sense but still worth a try.

on windows 7 u hav to run it as an administrator and then switch off ur antivirus software... after patching the configure.dll file u have to add an exception to it or else it wil be blocked when antivirus starts again...

always open the included READ ME file (usually just a notepad file) within the unpacked folder. It will tell you how to use the crack, no matter if its just a copy/paste (like this one was), or a serial/keygen, etc. Those 'READ ME' text files can come in handy every once in a while!
