Hi there.

I use JDownloader 2 to download files from all kinds or sources. Youtube included (can separately download audio and video).

It is also nice to sort through file sharing sites. I don't have premium membership with any of them, so it will sort them and even download from multiple sites.

It has resume and can download fast using multiple threads.

JDownloader 2 is has version for Windows, Mac and Linux.

It is totally free and can be found at:

Hope this helps you too.

(This is my first post, so I hope it meets the forum requirements).

I didn't know this proggie was still out there- I used to use it all the time but then the newer versions got buggie for me.  I use Internet Download Manager now which works pretty good, but its only as good as your ISP and mine is terrible (DSL with constant drop offs).  Thanks for the heads up- maybe I'll give it another shot.

Most browsers have plugins, extensions that will work well for videos

firefox - Video Download helper will download all most any video

There are a number of websites that will download from youtube

enter the url from the home page of any site in the search box here:

and it will find more sites like it

also copy the url from similarsitesearch.com and paste into its own search engine

and it will give you a list of more search sites

Is anyone use downloader like keepvid? Just google the words on google and you can download videos on keepvid.com

That's a easy way to download videos.

Have a look at more sites like keepvid:
