Street scenes of 19th-century Newcastle, England.

A remarkable set of original early glass negatives detailing everyday 19th-century street scenes has been found by Aaron Guy, who works at Newcastle's Mining Institute.

Most are from Newcastle, but some in the collection are from other parts of the north-east of England. The photographer is unknown.
