THE ladies of Litchfield Prison have been sent to maximum security, where life’s tougher than ever before, the full-length trailer for OITNB shows.

ORANGE Is The New Black returns to Netflix for a sixth season on Friday, July 27 — and the first extended trailer has just been released.

The last season of OITNB ended with a nailbiting cliffhanger, as armed officers stormed the stronghold of several of the show’s most beloved characters following a season-long prison riot.

Based on the trailer, it appears that this season they’ve all been shipped off to a maximum-security prison — one where life’s even tougher than it was at Litchfield Prison.

“The ladies of Litchfield are back with iron wills and nothing to lose. In maximum security, friendships will be tested and new allegiances will be formed. Will they turn on each other or keep their bonds intact?”
