Supplementary rules: 1. All threads shall contain a link to the developers site, and a download-link from the developer (remember code tags). And of course some information about it. 2. You are allowed to add your own download link if you have uploaded the item to a filehoster. But be aware that such links may give you 4 warning points if they are in any way infected! 3. In this forum it is very important that you do a search before posting. We only allow one thread for each item. And posting an already existing item is considered double-posting. Keep that in mind!

Maybe. It's not a section I visit very often. I'm in Music sections most of the time. But if people who use it, and Moderators in charge think it's a good idea... Why not?

Google has filed a brief at a federal court in Florida defending the file-hosting site Hotfile in its case against the MPAA. The search giant accuses the movie companies of misleading the court and argues that Hotfile is protected under the DMCA’s safe harbor. Indirectly, Google is also refuting claims being made by the US government in the criminal case against Megaupload... : http://torrentfreak.com/google-defends-hotfile-and-megaupload-in-court-120319/

How Scary is the US “Six Strikes” Anti-Piracy Scheme?
The Last Wicked posted a topic in Community Lounge
How Scary is the US “Six Strikes” Anti-Piracy Scheme? The MPAA and RIAA, helped by all major Internet providers in the United States, will begin to warn and punish copyright infringers in the months to come. Those caught sharing copyright works will receive several warning messages and subsequent punishment if they continue to infringe. Today we provide an overview of the upcoming scheme, busting some of the scary myths floating around online, and confirming others. http://torrentfreak.com/how-scary-is-the-us-six-strikes-anti-piracy-scheme-120605/ -

Kim Dotcom: The US Government is Wrong, Here’s Why
The Last Wicked posted a topic in Community Lounge
For the first time since his arrest in January, Megaupload founder Kim Dotcom is responding to allegations in what he calls the “MPAA-sponsored” indictment. Eager to fight back, Dotcom refutes several “nonsense” claims made by the Government. In addition, he shows that Mega wasn’t a big bad pirate haven, but a legitimate service that may have been shutdown for political reasons... http://torrentfreak.com/kim-dotcom-the-us-government-is-wrong-heres-why-120326/ -
For most software I do not agree. Only antivirus software could be deleted. But only if we know the newest version works. For other software I have experinced many times that the newer version isn't better than the older one. Features and interface have been changed. And those changes aren't always succsessful in my opinion. It may also happen that the cracks for the newer versions just aint good enough, but the old version still works. TLW says; Thumbs down
