    If you give me a nudge in 2 weeks I will have a go as my TV is 4K. I know the problems with playing stuff at that level is getting the encryption level right (HDCP 2.2 ). I have my TV linked to one in the kitchen and trying to find a compliant splitter was horrendous and expensive. If you try and play a high level HDCP on only an HD ready TV then it won't and says it is incompatible. You then have to get an encryption stripper to bring the signal low enough.

    2 weeks time I'll be back from holiday and free to have a go with playing stuff on my TV.
