Ubisoft's new open-world game, Watch Dogs, is now available, but unfortunately a number of players are experiencing issues, including a login problem that Ubisoft is aware of. "We are experiencing issues with the authentication services," a tweet sent out by the official Watch Dogs account (and spotted by Game Informer) reads. "Players may experience long delays when trying to login in-game." While that gets in the way of online play and use of the mobile app, gamers have also been complaining about being unable to connect to Uplay, which the PC version of the game uses, preventing them from being able to play. In response, Ubisoft has issued a statement on its forums that reads, "Dear fans, with the release of Watch Dogs we are seeing an exceptional increase of activity. While we have taken many measures to limit the impact to our servers, they are not responding as fast as usual. Rest assured our team is monitoring closely our servers and taking every measures so that our services remain up. Thank you for your patience." Another post on the forums lists the issues Ubisoft is currently aware of, including several different crashes for players of the PC version and PlayStation 4 preorders not properly unlocking. Solutions for these problems have yet to be offered, but we'll be keeping an eye on the game's technical issues as Ubisoft provides additional updates. Watch Dogs was released today on Xbox One, Xbox 360, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, and PC after becoming the most preordered game of this new generation of consoles at GameStop. A young guy from North Dakota moves to Florida and goes to a big "everything under one roof" department store looking for a job. The Manager says, "Do you have any sales experience?" Apple has made installing Windows natively on a Mac easily with Boot Camp. With the latest version of Boot Camp Apple has added drivers support for Windows 8.1, Windows 8 and Windows 7. Your Mac should already have an existing version of Boot Camp installed, but it might not be the latest. And strangely enough Mac’s software update doesn’t pick up new software released on Boot Camp. You need to manually go to the website, download and install the latest version of Boot Camp. (As of writing this post the latest Boot Camp 5.1.5621 can be downloaded here for all none current generation Mac, or Boot Camp 5.1.5640 here for all current generation Mac) We’ve covered before how easy it is to install Windows on a Mac, this guide will help you go through how to remove Windows partitions from a Mac, if you ever decided to do so. First go launch Boot Camp, you can do so by hit “command + space” launch spotlight search and type “Boot Camp”. Hit Continue after the first Introduction page. If there already exists a Windows partition installed, you can select “Remove Windows 7 or later version”. The next step of the wizard will tell you how much space you will be gaining after removing the Windows partition. Hit “Restore” to confirm the deletion. his process will take a while depends on how big the Windows partition is, once this is done you will be getting all the storage back and merge back to the main Mac OS X partition. his is to confirm the Windows installation has been successfully removed from the Mac. That’s it, removing a native Boot Camp Windows installation is easy and straight forward.

To do this, here are some requirements you need to have: Windows 8 ISO image (you can obtain Windows 8 Release Preview from here for 64bit or here for 32 bit and the Public key is TK8TP-9JN6P-7X7WW-RFFTV-B7QPF) USB (8 GB if you are installing on MacBook Air or MacMini that has no Super Drive) a blank DVD other wise A Mac with Boot Camp 4 Have at least 25GB free space on your Mac First go ahead and launch Boot Camp Assistant. Easiest way is go to Spotlight and type “boot camp” Read the instructions and Continue. The second step lets you to create a bootable USB drive as well as downloading driver from Apple for the Windows installation. Check all if you wish to proceed the installation. Even if you have a bootable USB drive already created, it’s a good idea to create a new Windows 8 bootable USB install drive here, because the USB drive will also include some of the content downloaded from Apple. You can uncheck “Install Windows 7” if you only want to create a bootable USB install drive for your Mac. (notice, the example here are from a MacBook Air, if you have a Mac that has build in Super Drive, then you will be given an option to burn the ISO image onto a DVD) Now select the Windows 8 ISO image and select the destination USB disk. Now you can sit back and relax. This process will take a while, get a coffee and come back. It will not only Copy Windows install files but it will also download additional content from Apple. When the USB is ready, it will ask you how you wish to re-allocate your disk space to accompany Windows 8. Here I give it 40GB for Windows and leave the rest of my Mac. Once you are done at this stage it will partitioning the disk and reboot whenever it’s done. From here on, your Mac will be boot into Windows and you can follow the Windows install wizard. Your Windows installation will reboot twice. When it’s all done, by default your Mac will now start to reboot into Windows automatically, but if you wish to change the boot order, you can press and hold the “Option” key on your Mac when it boots up (during the grey screen). Then you will see this boot option to choose which partition you wish to boot into. That’s it for installation Windows 8 on your Mac. Pretty straight forward, there are still some driver issue with Windows 8 Release Preview on Mac, I’m looking forward to trying the official release!

(Nasdaq: EBAY) said beginning later today it will be asking eBay users to change their passwords because of a cyberattack that compromised a database containing encrypted passwords and other non-financial data. After conducting extensive tests on its networks, the company said it has no evidence of the compromise resulting in unauthorized activity for eBay users, and no evidence of any unauthorized access to financial or credit card information, which is stored separately in encrypted formats. However, changing passwords is a best practice and will help enhance security for eBay users. What and when did it happened?Cyberattackers compromised a small number of employee log-in credentials, allowing unauthorized access to eBay’s corporate network. With that access, they got their hands on the data they really wanted. The compromise was discovered about 2 weeks ago but the real attack took place back between late February and early March. What’s been compromised?The database that contains eBay customers’ name, encrypted password, email address, physical address, phone number and date of birth. Fortunately, the database that was compromised did not contain financial information or other confidential personal information. Therefore, no need to worry about your PayPal account for the time being. What should we do?Simple as usual, if you are an eBay user, time to change your password. To change your eBay password, log into your account, click your name in the upper left corner. Select Account Settings. Click Personal Information on the left side of the page, and Edit next to your password. If you don’t use eBay but do use PayPal, don’t bother.
