If you want to keep your computer like it was before you had this problem, you can download as Mr. Grumpy says and when you are finished with that and burn it to disk do the following: Put the disk in and have your computer start using the disk (you may need to set your bios so your computer will boot with the dvd drive) When the disk finishes loading, you will come to a page that asks if you want to install the program, don't do it yet (only if this doesn't work) Look further down the page you should find a button that you can hilight to repair the installation push that and try to repair computer do to a startup problem. If that doesn't fix it reboot the machine and reinstall windows with the disk grumpy told you about. Good luck and let us know what the outcome is, we are always happy to hear back one way or the other, it helps the next person with a problem.

It is best to find a BSOD viewer like "BlueScreenView" that will tell you which files are causing the problem. I am continueing the search for a link, will be back. Sorry can't find a local link to it but it is a free download, so the price is right. Download BlueScreenView 1.52 by Nirsoft To start with, make sure you have all the drivers for the installed devices installed, which includes chip drivers, network driver etc. (get them from the manufacturers website. I don't trust the driver installers like driver robot. I have seen them install drivers that were wrong too many times.

alen1, have you tried using a program that hides your IP and makes anyone looking at your computer think it is from somewhere else? You might want to search for that there are several but I can not tell you which is best, might be worth a try if you haven't tried yet. Not trying to one up you, but, here it goes anyhow, I had a computer and needed another drive, the first one was hughe but for some reason it was running out of room. What I did was bought another hare drive which doubled my capacity for $400.00 USD, then I had w wopping 80 mb.

I think you mean where they had two floppy drives, so you could put the operating system on/program on one and your work on another. That way we didn't have to keep swapping disks

To completely confuse you I have always used R-Studio and have saved many many files for a lot of people. Simon, you are extremely naive, or you are just trying to get the responses that you have been getting. If you are just naive, go to some of the file host and read how much you can make by using their service. FYI take a look at the green button lower right side of the post. It has a check mark and has (Like This) printed on it. That is the same as saying thank you, I agree, keep up the good work, your on the right track, and other comments to the affirmative. You stay around the internet long enough, you will learn.

Okay this is IMHO most of the uloaders that post a lot of post do it to make money, without the leechers, where would they be? Do as you suggest and you will have all uploaders uploading the same thing and why would someone who uploaded a program want to turn around and download the same program? Oh you say to meet new people and talk to them, well here we are the chat box, count all the different and I don't mean the chatter that enters several chats a day, is there:? 10, 20? how many of them are not admins? I feel you push people away and you will kill this and other sites just like it. Perhaps you don't mind, but I am sure the admins do, It is easy to drive people away from a site, but it is very difficult to bring them back. Who pays for this site? I don't care how good they are, unless they are independently wealthy, it is not the admins, it is those people you want to drive away. I am done.

u there? If you have windows have you tried going to the control panel/ remove program / hilite the program you want to remove and click on uninstal up on the title bar?
