I Need Roadmate 1700 files

I have a Roadmate 1700 that just boots up to a screen that implies that I need to connect it to a computer. I figure it needs a firmware update. I downloaded content manager but I've been getting "server busy" for five days now and I cant update that way. Magellan Customer Service says they can't provide me with a direct download of the update. I copied files from my Roadmate 1470 to it but the image only comes up 1/3 the screen... though the GPS works.

 

 

So, I come here asking for a few solutions that I think will fix this:

 

1. If anyone can upload ANY version of the RM1700 update so I can continue using this GPS.

If you've ever done an update to your 1700 then it's possible that you still have the update files on your computer. type %temp% into your START run box and it'll take you to your temp folder. In that folder you should see a folder named "content manager" in that folder should be the update files.

 

2. Another way I can get these is just copy your files (minus the maps) from your device, zip them and upload them.

 

3. If you happen to know what file controls the screen size upload that.
