castopher 0 Report post Posted July 29, 2012 I have a HP COMPAQ 6720s, and a Samsung R519 Note Book both legit bought from E-Bay? well they seemed from reputable people the Compaq will not boot tryied all sorts ran out of patients and just used Dariks Boot and Nuke to erase the hard drive waiting for it finish Tried to wipe it once then came up with the usual pain in the neck Ntldr Is Missing so decided ok wiping it with darik so I am looking for a vista basic to try and re-install the whole system on my HP COMPAQ Any pass on any links or if you dont what to show the link PM me please real pain Kids cannot get back on there Laptops. My Samsung all the ethernet drivers wireless drivers tonnns USB drivers disapeared totally baffled so I installed Vista Dream which I have seen around did not I download the correct drivers from the Samsung Site exactly the right one's hit device manager clicked update located where I had extracted them and shit ( The System OP Installed does not support these drives !?? eh? unreal so now both kids without laptops on the holidays. Predator77 53 Report post Posted July 31, 2012 why don't you get windows 7 from the many links on here and get the workaround for it here as well?? i know you probably prefer vista as your used to it, but windows 7 to me is far more stabler and better in my opinion!!! anyway thats my advice to you , but thats coming from me!!! :cwrocks: if you need any help with a link for an iso for windows 7 just give us a shout Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
