It is a matter of weeks, indeed, and rumours about the popular stock Android slate are flooding the net, the latest of which came from a supposed Reddit conversation thread that showed an Asus representative spewing juicy specs of the 7-inch tablet.

Asus, of course, is the Taiwanese manufacturer responsible for the first Nexus 7. Apparently, Google was impressed by the initial build that it re-engaged the device maker for the tablet's second coming.

Last week, reports of Jelly Bean 4.3 going live by June emerged and as expected the smartphones singled out as the first in line to flash the latest Android form the flagship devices coming from Samsung, Sony and HTC - namely the Galaxy S4, the HTC One and the Xperia Z.

Also mentioned, which is not surprising at all, is the Nexus 7 2, thus making it the proud carrier of what Google has to offer in the freshly revised platform. And these capabilities can be had starting at $199 or $220, which is a bargain when compared to the iPad Mini 2. Based on analysts' projections, the small iOS 7 tablet will sell $329 for the Retina version and $249 for the cheaper make.
