If you’re a Windows Phone fan, we've got some good news for you. According to TENAA, which is the Chinese equivalent of the FCC, Nokia just received certification for a brand new device: the Lumia 625.

The Lumia 625 is expected to be a low-end device, created for developing markets. We first saw images and rumors of this device back in May and it turns out they were accurate.

The device is an upgrade for the previous 620 and it follows the same design guidelines. The handset will feature a huge 4.7-inch WVGA screen, a 1.2Ghz Qualcomm S4 processor, 512MB of RAM and a 2000 mAh battery. While there’s nothing special about this phone, that huge screen may help persuade a certain segment of the market.

The device is expected to launch in China at the end of this month with a $325 price-tag. With the recent success of the Lumia 520 as a low-end Windows Phone we’re glad to see Nokia continuing to focus on the very important developing markets.
