  1. I did a little research on the Raspberry Pi 3 playing 4k and it will but not at 60hz, But I found info on Asus board that say it will do 4k

Again I'm sorry all I can do is search to find info as I don't have a 4k TV yet - I can tell you anything about 1080p as I have an Awesome 1080p TV that is very fast

  2. Ok - My other system is Windows 10 64bit and I have VLC 64bit version on it and I have no problem with it, So it could be the cable and/or converter (But like I said I'm not sure about 4k, But I don't have a problem doing 1080p at full speed)

I'm not sure why you can't run the 64bit version of VLC - I didn't have any problems installing or running it

Personally I stopped using my Computer to run/stream movies - I use a Raspberry Pi 3 now (I have a 8TB drive and a Blu-ray drive hooked to it)

As far as the cable it might do, But I don't want to say Yes and be wrong

  3. Can you give me the link to the software you are talking about - I looked at CyberLink website and I don't see CyberLink 12

(If you are talking about CyberLink PowerDVD 12 there is problems with 12 running 4k @ 60hz - CyberLink PowerDVD 17 will play it)

Also have you tried VLC - It plays everything I throw at it (Not sure about 4k as I haven't moved up to it yet)

I did a quick Google search on VLC and 4k - It said it can
