  2. relphelp,

If you are running win7 then the win7 defrag is all you need. Unlike previous ver of windows, win7 has improved greatly on the defrag (along with many other things).

If you really want a free defrag program then here is one that I have used in the past with good luck.

    IOBIT Smart Defrag:

    http://www.iobit.com/iobitsmartdefrag.html

Please note that if you have an SSD then you do not need to defrag nor do you want to on a SSD.

  3. dj,

What OS are you using? How much memory do you have?

When did you notice this c/p issue start happening?

have you installed any new software during this time?

Please give us as much info as possible to help us better serve you.

  4. To do or not to do....that is the question :D

One thing to understand, all batteries as long as the +/- are connected will drain faster regardless if left on power supply. If laptop is left on power supply at all times and battery is not removed then the battery will still discharge even a small amount and then the laptop will charge over and over topping off the battery. Not good. Batteries need to be used.

This is what I have done on my dell laptop for past 2 years and battery is still like new. I would guess battery is charged at least 5 times a day 7 days a week.

It seems everyone has different views and even successes. I would recommend that one should just simply do research on a spacific laptop model and go from there.

I see no point in continuing this thread.

  5. Few things to try D.

Do a system restore back to before this all happened. If this doesn't work then do then following:

Run antivirus and malwarebytes in safe mode.

If all clean then go to msconfig and see if there is anything that you can stop at startup.

Run CCleaner if you have it. If not, here is the link,

    http://www.piriform.com/ccleaner

Look into your processes and and see what if anything is using alot of resources.

Uninstall anything that you don't use.

    Defrag hdd

    let us know.

  7. IRQ's really never were an issue with XP ( I am assuming you are running XP). Pretty much 98 and back. I am wondering if you have a lot loading at startup and your ethernet is hanging. I see you only have 1 gig of ram. So, have you let your computer sit for a few minutes right after 1st startup to see if the ethernet drivers will finally load? Try starting in safe mode with networking and see if it loads first time.

One last thing, how long has this been going on? did you update your ethernet drivers and then this started happening? If so then I suggest that you roll back the drivers?

  8. Agreed, we are not here to help people crack/hack software, wifi or anything else. If you want this then I would suggest doing your homework on google or pay for a VIP here and you will have access to hacking section if it is still available.

  9. I have to agree with what has been suggested. Great places to start. One last thing is to make sure all drivers are updated. They should already be updated but run windows update again to make sure.

    Let us know.

  10. Direct Encodes,

I don't really deal with ripping dvd's that much so I won't be of any help to you but could you please let the others know what you are using to rip. They may be able to help you with your program or suggest a different program to use when ripping and adding subs.

  12. I have been doing some googleing on this issue. From what I can tell, it is a coding issue. One thing is, do you have the latest issue? I believe it is 1.6.

Did you install or add to HTML? i.e. is it a wordpress version plugin and if so then istall through wordpress.

From what I have read so far, even if you get it to work, if you start changing themes it will stop working again. thus back to fixing HTML codes. If you are not familar with HTML, then I suggest you stop using your plugin. Sometimes having things that look cool just aren't worth having if you have to fix things all the time just to get them to work.

    Just my opinion on this.

Good luck and hopefully @vigneshnallamad can help you on this.

You may want to give @vigneshnallamad a back door pass so he can get into your wordpress and see exactly what is causing the issue.

Sorry I can't really help on this.
