Hi Tech425, I went to do a walkthrough of my new house and when I looked out the rear window there was this huge 6 foot high roll of fibre being pushed into a well greasred pipe. So I went down to see what was going on and the guys said they were installing the Fibre. The connection box is 3ft fr0m my Garage wall. Now I can't wait tiii next week when I move. I have been trying to get Alldebrid but I never get the e-mail for activation. Even though the guys have sent me a link to have it resent. Anyone else have problems creating an account??

Thank you guys. I will go and have a look at Allibrid then. I don't up load much as I have a very fast internet connection. 1mb/s for uploads. For a 510MB download it takes me 5 hours I hate to think how long it would take to upload one that size. I can't wait to complete my move to a new house with Fibre.

Yes I had to remove it as it gave me problems with other programs not recognizing me any more. Thanks anyway -
Hi guys, It seems that there is a lot of files available that are HUGE. Speaking as a user with a 2mb/s internet connection I am not able to download some stuff that I might wish for. So all you great uploaders out there give the slow speed guys a break a make the files smaller without the fluff in them. Even a 500MB file takes me 8hrs to download and if theres a hiccup I have to start again. No advantage to having a premium account either as I am limited by the internet connection. Thank you

Hi guys anyone else have this problem . Or anyone know of a solution. I loaded java from Oracle at the request of some program. It appears lots of programs use it on their websites. Well everything was good until I upgraded to win 8.1. Then I would get a pop up saying the upgrade 7.51 was available and so I said yes upgrade. Ever since then I get this same popup comes up every time I change screens or websites . In the end It became so annoying that I had to un-install Java completely. Now I get warnings that I need Java to be installed to run certain features. Oracle website does not have anything about this update on iy only about problems with an earlier update and it is supposed to be fixed by installing (Yes you guessed it) version 7.51 Any help or comments please!!

Hi gurus, I was playing with my win 8.1 and I am sure I was in PC settings. I came across a menu that was listed as recent activity. When I opened it it showed a list of where my Hotmail account had been used from geographically. It had a menu the allowed you to say this was not me and when you opened it you could change your access info. As my account appeared to have a lot of places that I am not in like the USA , KUWAIT, Russia etc I changed my password . I wanted to look at it again to see if there was still access from different but now I can't find where it was. Any one help me ?? Thanks

I sent in a chargeback to my credit card company and they said I would have to wait for 6 weeks for Filesonic to either appeal or pay up. So its a waiting game

Most of the problems with bad files are caused by new members with low message counts putting stuff on here. I suggest no one should be allowed to upload files until they have several hundred posts under their belts. Any that post and its a dud should be banned from uploading until they prove they ate not just copying someone else's files.. Really ticked off by these members.

Have a look at the sites we download from They have lifetime memberships as well. You need to think of the benifits of paying a lump sum as opposed to a yearly fee. I usually go lifetime everytime. You save big in the long run. Same thing goes for most things out there It seems like a lot of cash in one go but over time it is far cheaper. Does not stop you continuing to donate. Especially when you win big on that lottery ticket

As a mater of interest How many members make use of Googles neat FREE phone service.Until the end of 2011 you can phone anyone on a their landline phone in the USA & Canada for free. But only works with Internet Explorer browser. Try it to-day I phone from Canada to Arizona all the time for free.

I live in a rural area and I get a blinding 1.6K/s if I'm lucky. I can only get a Wireless connection from an antennae that is about 20 miles away. But it's better than Dial -up. Except if I am downloading a big file like I am now 5 Gigs It is going to take another 7 hours

I am finding is becoming more and more troublesome. In the last few months calls that were always good clean calls have become intermuttent ba quality and keep dropping me offline. Now it might be my ISP or the weather bit the same problem arises with the other en of the call whereas he has a hard wired high speed connection verus my wireless connection . I barely get over 1K/s from my ISP but it is faster than dial up
