    Thanks to all for this info and yes it is two years since I posted the original but having been hospitalised twice, one time a close call and another for mangled fingers :o   in that time, plus the loss of my wife of 63 years, I have not been very active on that front.

    Indeed I may say that I had forgotten my original question.  No not Alzheimers :D

    I did try Aldebrid but found that most of the time it was either too complicated or the damned thing just would not work so I gave it away.

    Maybe it is time to try something else.

    Could this be why my Avira finds viri in just about every keygen d/l I make?   Frustrating to say the least since by the time I am made aware of it the thing has been deleted and/or quarantined.

    Trouble is how does one know for sure if the keygen is infected?

    So, since I don't use Netflix anyway what do I do, just take a chance?  Surely some protection is better than none?

    M$ has always sold their "spyware" junk at high prices.   I remember when Word documents had personal info embedded in them and it took a while for M$ to remove that - if they ever did?  

     

    They are now "giving away FREE" their latest offering???

     

    Why, I wonder, am I so suspicious?

    Pinned as I think it's very important that we all need to remmber that terrorism needs to stop

    But it will not.   There will never be a stop to this sort of idiocy since apart from that "Lying Dog", Bush  who took action on lies he generated, most politicians are too damned frightened or too damned greedy to take any action

    against the real perpetrators.   Like piracy in the Asian seas "if you catch one, let him go".

    Personally, I would not allow any trials, or appeals.   Do what the russkies do - immediate shot to the head.

    Not a suggestion but a question.

    Has it been decided by  whomever that all files will now be stored on the rapidgator site?   I have searched for downloadable movies but all of those

    I have selected plus some that I merely researched, are only available on rapidgator.  Most were available on a number of sites.

    I managed to save up from my pension to purchase a premium account from one site and now find nobody is apparently using that as storage.

    I simply cannot afford multiple premium accounts so am limited most often to "free"   read "extremely slow" downloads.

    Not really enjoyable.

    I know the original post was for a grouping of older movies but also why not have a grouping of the download sites.    I finally worked out that a majority of movies etc., were available on the uploaded.net site and as a pensioner with limited assets I finally managed to gather enough to take a premium account on Uploaded and things were fine for a while as I could download the programs/movies of my choice.   That premium account now appears to be a waste of money as it appears that the majority of uploaders have migrated to rapidgator or oboom which negates my having fast downloads.   I have to search all the files and movies to find any that are available on Uploaded [fewer and fewer] which is time-wasting for me.   My internet charges are high enough as it is.   If there were a grouping showing the download sites it would make life easier for many  in my position.

    One thing to look for when your av shows a virus, is the name for the virus. If it lists just a generic name, then it might be a false positive. If it has a specific name then delete it. If it is a keygen and has a virus or false positive you can still use it. Just run it in Sandboxie. Sandboxie will contain it safely to run it on your computer.

    Thanks for the info.   I have also read about the Sandboxie that Darko put in............never heard of it before so will try it.

    Although I am a pensioner I have now bought a premium account on one server.   Limits my downloads somewhat but I

    can now download at a good speed instead of the idiotic speeds of the "free" sections.

    Does anyone know why I simply cannot get Platinum Hide IP 3.2.9.2 [or any other hide IP program - I have tried three] to work on my computer.

    It installs just fine, appears to indicate my IP being elsewhere and shows such when I check.

    However, when I try surfing all the usual things happen, such as the messages about opening sites etc.,

    except that no sites will load.   After a while I get the message that the site ..."took too long to respond".

    This happens no matter what site I am trying to access, nor does it matter in which country I set my fake IP.

     

    Is it possible that my ISP is actually interfering with the sites and/or program?

     

    I know that my ISP had entered into a clandestine agreement with the [past] government to block certain sites

    without reason but the sites I attempt to load will do so quite rapidly without Hide IP running.

     

    I am getting slightly frustrated with this.

     

    Any other way [non-expensive] that I can surf anonymously?

    Request Windows Office 2013 Home and Student

    32bit or 64bit :  Usually both on the same CD but 32bit will do.

    OS: Windows 7 Professional

     

    I was given a gift of this program [keycard] from a relation in Canada.   Only to find that it would not instal,   MS support managed to bypass the problem but later it deleted everything when it tried to "repair" Office.

    Now I am unable even to d/l the Office program and MS support was unable to do so.    Support Australia said it was because the code was only for US and Canada but that doesn't figure since I don't get far enough to

    put the product key in.  The program will just not d/l and instal  - MS support Australia said they would send me a new key.     Do pigs fly?  I am still waiting. :angry:

    Haven't seen any premium only links and as a pensioner cannot afford any of the premium sites!

     

    The other problem is that many of the servers [or the posters?] have included adware/spyware or just plain viruses in their files.

     

    One must ask - Why?

    Hey guys also lets face it. one good program from here takes you over $100 roughly if you had to buy it as retail. never mind the music movie's programs etc. and the family atmosphere we have here at CyberWarez. Don't take my word for it, try it and see. if you need help CW is the right place to go, you become part of the family rather quickly. And as a normal lecher I love this place and the people who moderate and patronise this place. I have been a member since around 2008 and I have just recently joined as a VIP. it is great you get the behind the door chats etc. It is the best place on this earth! and the people here are bloody fantastic!

    Figured I'd weigh in on this... the lifetime membership is a one time payment for the life of your account and to discount it would drastically take away from site revenue and the idea that paying a large up front one time payment gives you the ability to not "have" to pay again.

     

    And I also see that the lifetime option is no longer available. Although 10 years is quite a long time and, in my opinion, also worth the $200 shot to the bank account.

     

    Yeah and at my age I should live so long!

    Same here, I have no need for VIP, only want to help. Is there a way to chip in some money rather than paying to become VIP?

    I had this wonderful idea of donating to a site which I have found very [and more than others] useful. However, as a pensioner, having limited resources reduces the ability of paying a large sum for three months at a time. I see no real advantage in paying such a [to me] princely sum for the limited times that I use the site. As for the VIP status there was no real information as to just what advantages it would entail...........merely some abbreviated notes such as Exclusive Premium Downloading service which supports unlimited downloads from over a 50 leading file hosts.

    Hmmm, just which sites [a list would definitely be helpful!] and what limitations? All this notwithstanding my limited internet access and downloads [i do not have ADSL, Cable or any such really good access] :cwrocks: .
