    Info:
    Rules for Anonymous SOTW:
    - All SOTW's will be anonymous.
    - All entries must contain CyberPhoenix logo or name in it.
    - All entries must contain no identifiable information on it i.e. User names, real names, photos of users, etc.
    - If any of of the above mentioned rules not followed, you will be disqualified.
    - All entries will be pm'd to me.
    - If your signature is found to be posted in another thread on this forum, you will be disqualified from the current SOTW.
    - Do not enter signatures that you didn't make.


    Rules/Guidelines - Please Read:

    Times:
    - Entries will accepted for a time period of two weeks from the date this thread posted(This may change in future).
    - A new thread will be created thereafter for the sole purpose of voting.
    - Voting will end on Sunday and then the winner will be announced.

    Sizes:
    - The dimensions of your sig must not exceed 500 x 200px.
    - Entries should not be over 200kB in size.
    - All entries over 200kB will be disqualified unless changed before the entry cut-off time.

    General:
    - You must have made the signature yourself. Do not steal someone else's work. Doing so will get you banned from every SOTW.
    - The use of already manipulated images/photos is not allowed. When using an image for your sig, please make sure it's a stock one.
    - If you are accused of stealing someone else's work, then you will be asked to PM me your *.PSD (or equivalent) for verification.
    - You may only submit 1 entry per SOTW.
    - You may not submit a sig that you used in a previous SOTW.
    - You may change your entry as many times as you like up until the entry cut-off time.
    - The entry must relate to the theme in an appropriate way.
    - You must not use any inappropriate content in your work.(No explicit images, racism, etc.)
    - Competitors are solely responsible for the validity of their entry. Please make sure your sig adheres to all the rules or it won't be counted!
    - Anyone found to have influenced the voting in any way, will be disqualified and banned from all further SOTW's.
    - All the regular forum rules apply.

    Prizes:
    - The winner of each SOTW will receive prestigious SOTW userbar.

    I'm so excited to hear it..

    At the WB/Legendary panel, Zack Snyder took the stage to announce the project. He then handed the microphone over to Harry Lennix (General Swanwick from Man of Steel), who recited the following quote from the comic book “The Dark Knight Returns“:

      

     

    “I want you to remember Clark, in all the years to come. In all your private moments. In all the years to come, my hand at your throat. I want you to remember, the one man who beat you.”

    Thereafter, the Batman/Superman logo was shown and geek pandemonium broke out in Hall H. Here it is:

    Finally, here is the official press release from WB:

        The current hit, “Man of Steel,” has taken in more than $630 million at the worldwide box office to date, and climbing. Along with its star, Henry Cavill, the upcoming film brings back Amy Adams, Laurence Fishburne and Diane Lane. The new Batman has yet to be cast.

        Snyder is co-writing the story with David S. Goyer, who will then pen the screenplay. Production is expected to begin in 2014, with an anticipated release date in Summer 2015.

        Silverman stated, “Zack Snyder is an incredibly talented filmmaker, but beyond that, he’s a fan first and he utterly gets this genre. We could not think of anyone better suited to the task of bringing these iconic Super Heroes to the screen in his own way.” Kroll added, “We are thrilled to be back in business with Zack and his team on this next movie. The success of ‘Man of Steel’ is a wonderful testament to the love and support that both fans and new audiences, worldwide, have for these characters. We are very excited to see what Zack has in store for all of us.”

        Diane Nelson, President, DC Entertainment, noted, “Superman and Batman together on the big screen is a dream come true for DC fans everywhere. All of us at DC Entertainment could not be more excited for Zack’s continuing vision for the DC Universe.”

        Zack Snyder, who made a surprise appearance at Comic-Con today, breaking the news to audiences there, later said, “I’m so excited to begin working again with Henry Cavill in the world we created, and I can’t wait to expand the DC Universe in this next chapter. Let’s face it, it’s beyond mythological to have Superman and our new Batman facing off, since they are the greatest Super Heroes in the world.”

        The new film brings back Charles Roven and Deborah Snyder as producers. This time, Christopher Nolan and Emma Thomas are serving as executive producers, along with Benjamin Melniker and Michael E. Uslan.

        Thomas offered, “Whilst our ‘Dark Knight’ trilogy is complete, we have every confidence that Zack’s fresh interpretation will take the character in a new and exciting direction. His vision for Superman opened the door to a whole new universe and we can’t wait to see what Zack does with these characters.”

        The film is based on Superman characters created by Jerry Siegel & Joe Shuster, and Batman characters created by Bob Kane, published by DC Entertainment.

    I'm so bored this month without any new games..

    Now i'm happy to see Prototype 2 releasing on 24 july..

    Ppl who had already played it in consoles plz share ur opinion abt this game.

    I liked prototype n Alex mercer..

    I hope this game'll be more fun than prototype..

    A set of concept art purporting to be from Half Life 2: Episode 3 has made its way onto the web.

     

    Somehow procured by unofficial site ValveTime, the 32 images include various new Alyx designs, Gordon Freeman in various bits of cold weather clobber and a few concept pieces showing the Resistance chopper crashed in the Arctic.

     

    The images apparently date way back to 2008, so may not be representative of how the game - if indeed it still exists in any form - looks now.

     

    Are they legit? We've asked Valve for clarification. However, one of the ValveTime team posted the following note on the Steam forums:

     

    "For the avoidance of doubt, I just want to stress that we absolutely would not release these pictures if we didn't know for a fact they were real. They absolutely are.

     

    "Please just enjoy them as they are, and try not to look for conspiracies that aren't there.

     

    "I mean, it's not like we're doing it to attract traffic to our site. We know our server can't cope with the load so we don't want massive influxes of traffic like this. You may have noticed we've been offline since!"

     

     

    One could argue that perhaps they are just generic Half-Life 2 concept art of concepts that never made it into the final game. But there's plenty of evidence here to suggest they are post Episode 2.

     

    For example:

     

    Alyx is wearing Eli's jacket

    Crashed helicopter in an Arctic location

    Art featuring Xen

    Combine Advisors in Xen

     

    The images are from circa 2008 and therefore not necessarily representative of the current state of the project, but it's great to see new media, nonetheless.

    If anyone got a chance to play the game soon.. Tell ur thoughts abt it..

     

    I still remember the game trailer which i first saw in 2009 Video game awards..

    I hope it'll be good n different from other shooters.. Eagerly waiting..
