you can use the hlds server directly i guess.. create a server using hlds.exe and then share ur ip with your friends...

if you have a video card there wont be any prob.. which os ? win7? win7 has a prob with D3D ... whenever you minimize and then get back to the screen you can see nothing.. if it is windows 7 try to configure xp compatibility in it i did the compatibility thing and set video mode to openGL then has no problems

try reinstalling or updating the lan drivers

guys i am having a problem with my windows pc whenever i use the internet, my cpu usage rockets to 100%-especially when i use sites with more graphics- facebook and other flash sites also i cant play any videos properly when i am connected to the internet i dont think its any virus problem since i have tried reinstalling my pc thrice (also tried linux) any idea what the problem might be ? any solutions?
