You could go into the router and sort out a static IP for the printer...similar to if you set up a FTP

Seems rather odd that the router drops the connection to the printer. It makes me wonder if the memory of the router isn't functioning as it should be. You'll find that if you reset the router a lot of times it will cause a problem

AT & T have been causing issues for their customers for a while now so they can get the customers to move to a different package, which costs more. I'm betting this is what is happening. Either that or the router has a memory issue. Of course there is the outside chance that you have a virus of some kind but I don't reckon it is.
-
That would depend on which version they have..

-
If you have the anti-virus edition you can't stop it scanning particular folders however, what you can do is go into the quarantine (show files), scroll down the list to the ones that you didn't want removing and there are 3 icons to the right of each file..the furthest icon should be restore, click that and it will restore the file back to the folder. You might have to do that a couple of times before it leaves it alone.

I've been looking but nothing yet

Once you've done your OS use easybcd to create an alternative windows boot

Now that's odd...I've just downloaded an Advanced Uninstaller 11.40 and its from here...but when I did a search I couldn't find it
Here ya go...

I looked for the film quite a while back now....as I wanted to have the trilogy but it was never to be
-
Had a look round...found one link but judging by the comments there is no key for it, which makes it a pointless exercise. There are a couple of torrent links but I won't touch torrent so I didn't bother with further investigation. Apart from that its just trial versions and I have never done cracking so I can't even help with that one unfortunately....

What's the third one.?. The Vampire Lestat.?. Do you have that also EMS.?.
The film was never produced....

Ya just gotta trust EMS I can build pcs in my sleep faster than most people can do it when they are awake Strange how something so simple like the bios clock and/or date can screw things up if its not set right...aint that so captain nemo
P.S. I never said nuffin about flashing bios just to check date and time Ye of little faith...one day just one day....this lunatic will be listened to
P.S.S. you're welcome legriff

I think this has something to do with the bios...have you checked the date and time of the bios clock?

okay dokay..I'll see if I can find and install that one and have a looksee. I already had a copy in my archives...ok, yep you can change the ripping settings of the dvd highlight each of the titles and then look near the bottom at profile, down drop list you'll see multiple choices of what format you want...iPad, general, etc etc if you highlight say general you'll have another menu come up and it'll have an even bigger selection....for example it'll have Mp4, AVI etc..once you've selected whichever format you want...and there are s**t loads..on the right hand side you'll see an indepth breakdown of the profile...if you look down to bit rate it will probably say something like 2000, well for starters, not many dvdrips are 2000 on the bit rate so lower it. Then, frame rate will show automatic..change that to 23.97..which is the usual frame rate in the warez scene for dvdrips. Do that with all the topics and then hit start..I'm just doing the original Italian Job to find out what the size is once its completed.
You'll have to tinker around with the settings because there are so many of them...its a bit trial and error tbh. Like I said though, you're better of ripping the dvds with perhaps xilisoft and then compressing it with freeview
The other problem is...if you don't have a very good cuda on the gpu or you have a small core CPU..it will take more time and I'm not sure how the end product would be, quality wise. I've got an eight core 8350 so it won't pose a problem for me and I've got a good GPU. Although, when installing the xilisoft you can choose to turn off certain aspects of it, like whether it uses all the cores...etc
Just been having a play around with it and ripping it with Freemake was definitely better...I got The Italian Job in at 758Mb Mp4 good quality but using xilisoft to compress is horrible. And that's from someone that has been encoding films for time lol

Modem / Router problems
in Helpdesk
Posted · Report reply
well, I'll try and direct you as best I can...First of all you need a blank internet page. In the top line type 192.168.1.1 That should be the IP address for the router, there may be variations to this depending on your router. You will get a small box asking you for user name and password. Now there is usually a generic set of words for this....usually something like admin/admin
Before I carry on with that..is the printer software upto date? And is it by any chance an HP printer?
