    My New Computer

My first computer was Intel it lasted 5 years and I wanted/needed a second computer. The shop I bought the second recommended AMD so I went with it. A few years later I wanted to build my own and went with AMD again and have been with them since. I'll stick to AMD now although I did consider Intel for my build posted here. I decided to go with what I know and stuck with AMD.... I think cost is a factor as I believe Intel can be costly however I'm not 100% sure................

  9. The cop was on his horse waiting to cross the street, when a little girl on her new shiny bike stopped beside him. 'Nice bike,' the cop said. 'Did Santa bring it to you?' 'Yes Sir,' the little girl said, 'he sure did!' The cop looked the bike over and handed the girl a $30.00 ticket for a safety violation. The cop said, 'Give this to your Dad , and next year, have him tell Santa to put a reflector light on the back of it!' The young girl was quiet for a few moments, then looked up at the cop and said, 'Nice horse you've got there, Officer, did Santa bring it to you?' Playing along with the girl, he chuckled and answered, 'Yes, he sure did!' The little girl looked up at the cop and said: 'Next year tell Santa; The dick goes underneath the horse, not on top'!!!
  10. God's Plan for Aging: Most seniors never get enough exercise. In His wisdom, God decreed that seniors become forgetful so they'd have to search for their glasses, keys, and other things, thus doing more walking. And God looked down and saw that it was good. Then God saw there was another need. In His wisdom He made seniors lose coordination so they'd drop things, requiring them to bend, reach, and stretch. And God looked down and saw that it was good. Then God considered the function of bladders and decided seniors would have additional calls of nature, requiring more trips to the bathroom, thus providing more exercise God looked down and saw that it was good. So if you find as you age, you are getting up and down more, remember it's God's will. It is all in your best interest even though you mutter under your breath. Nine Important Facts to Remember as We Grow Older: #9 Death is the number 1 killer in the world. #8 Life is sexually transmitted. #7 Good health is merely the slowest possible rate at which one can die. #6 Men have 2 motivations: hunger and hanky panky, and they can't tell them apart. If you see a gleam in his eyes, make him a sandwich. #5 Give a person a fish and you feed them for a day. Teach a person to use the Internet and they won't bother you for weeks, months, maybe years. #4 Health nuts are going to feel stupid someday, lying in the hospital, dying of nothing. #3 All of us could take a lesson from the weather. It pays no attention to criticism. #2 In the 60's, people took LSD to make the world weird. Now the world is weird, and people take Prozac to make it normal. #1 Life is like a jar of jalapeño peppers. What you do today may be a burning issue tomorrow.

    Winter boots

He asked for help and she could see why . Even with her pulling, and him pushing, the little boots still didn't want to go on. By the time they got the second boot on, she had worked up a sweat. She almost cried when the little boy said, 'Teacher, they're on the wrong feet.' She looked, and sure enough, they were. Unfortunately,it wasn't any easier pulling the boots off, than it was putting them on. She managed to keep her cool as, together, they worked to get the boots back on, this time on the correct feet. He then announced, 'These aren't my boots.' She bit her tongue, rather than get right in his face and scream, 'Why didn't you say so?' like she wanted to. Once again, she struggled to help him pull the ill-fitting boots off his little feet. No sooner had they got the boots off when he said, 'They're my brother's boots. But my Mom made me wear 'em today.' Now she didn't know if she should laugh or cry. But she mustered up what grace and courage she had left to wrestle the boots BACK onto his feet again. Helping him into his coat, she asked, 'Now, where are your mittens?' He said, 'I stuffed 'em in the toes of my boots...'

    My New Computer

That's one hell of a computer................ well done. I recently built my current computer saving up for each part purchasing and waiting until I had all the parts need and then built it. I ended up with a faulty power supply which was replaced under warranty but it fried my motherboard so had to replace that too. This time round I picked the components on my own instead of going with a shop recommendation. will list components when I've got a bit of time lol...

    New element?

Oxford University researchers have discovered the densest element yet known to science. The new element, Governmentium (symbol=Gv), has one neutron, 25 assistant neutrons, 88 deputy neutrons and 198 assistant deputy neutrons, giving it an atomic mass of 312. These 312 particles are held together by forces called morons, which are surrounded by vast quantities of lepton-like particles called pillocks. Since Governmentium has no electrons, it is inert. However, it can be detected, because it impedes every reaction with which it comes into contact. A tiny amount of Governmentium can cause a reaction that would normally take less than a second, to take from 4 days to 4 years to complete. Governmentium has a normal half-life of 2 to 6 years. It does not decay, but instead undergoes a reorganisation in which a portion of the assistant neutrons and deputy neutrons exchange places. In fact, Governmentium's mass will actually increase over time, since each reorganisation will cause more morons to become neutrons, forming isodopes. This characteristic of moron promotion leads some scientists to believe that Governmentium is formed whenever morons reach a critical concentration. This hypothetical quantity is referred to as a critical morass. When catalysed with money, Governmentium becomes Administratium (symbol=Ad), an element that radiates just as much energy as Governmentium, since it has half as many pillocks but twice as many morons.

    True Compassion

A fellow was sitting alone on a blanket at a quiet beach. He had no arms and no legs. Three women, one from England, one from Wales and one from Ireland, were walking past and felt sorry for the poor lonely chap. The Englishwoman said, “Excuse me, have you ever had a hug?” The chap replied, “No” so she went over, gave him a hug and walked on. The Welshwoman went over to him and asked, “Have you ever had a kiss?” The chap quietly replied, “No”, so she gave him a kiss and walked on. The Irishwoman came to him and said, “Hey, ‘ave ya ever been fooked laddie?”. The chap smiled shyly at her and replied, “No,” so she said, “Aye, well ya will be when the tide comes in.”

    $5.00 Walking Stick

DARWIN POST (Last Tuesday) Woman saves herself in Crocodile attack using a small Walking Stick. This is a story of self-control and marksmanship by a brave, cool-headed woman with a walking stick against a fierce predator. Here is her story in her own words: "While out walking along the edge of a creek just outside of our house in Darwin, with my soon to be ex-husband discussing our property settlement, kids and other divorce issues, we were surprised by a huge 5 metre crocodile which suddenly emerged from the murky water and began charging at us very fast with its large jaws wide open. The Croc must have been protecting her young and her home because she was extremely aggressive. If I had not had my little $5 dollar Reject Shop walking stick with me, I would not be here today! Just one hard whack to my estranged husband's knee cap was all it took.. The 'Croc got him easily and I was able to escape by just walking away at a brisk pace. The amount I saved in lawyer’s fees was really incredible and I got the lot.
