Did U check the driver 4 error codes. i.e. "Error Code 10" What about the back of the NIC card R both lights light? Check the Windows Event Viewer. What platform RU Running. Check Bios on first boot 2 see if Bios sees it.

I am just guessing that it could b U need more ram or more memory on the card. Or what browsers R U using. Lastly make sure U R updated: Windows Updates & check drivers, Flash, Java, ect. RU running x86 or 64? Win7 or XP. U should try 2 leave us with more detail if U really want help.

Well then it sounds like a hardware thing so fallow my advise. Also adding more programs wont really help just muck up the water. Also 2 do a ram test or just remove some & test them individually. Sometimes just re-seating the ram helps.

I would look @ what ever U did most recently b4 UR system became unstable. Basically did U recently install a program or app just B4 these happenings? If not then my next ? would be did U move this box recently? Well if U did then I would say that something has come loose. Some of the times it is helpful 2 just disconnect all things from board & reconnect. Even the CMOS battery once all is disconnected & of-course U would have unplugged the main power from the PSU B4 doing any of the disassembly press the power button 2 drain all static power in the caps & from the BIOS. Reassemble & power-up. That could b the easy fix UR in need of. But if U havent moved the box this is NULL, but still might b worth a look. I say this because if U R not in tune with what UR temps R U could have cooked or b cooking UR chips. In the process of the tear down U should b looking for any signs of damage i.e. swollen caps on the board or damage components. Further when was the last time U gave the ol-girl a cleaning. When I do mine I re-apply thermal compound to the chips [ CPU & NorthBridge ]. Also check that all fans R working properly. Keep us posted. Good-Luck dirty;p

Well I havent used it for that purpose I recommend AnchorFree. Unlike many of the fake IP changers/fakers this 1 does work. I say many of the other softwarez r fake is because if U do several checks on UR IP with many of the installed applications [iP Fakes]. They will still reveal UR IP. Even if U find 1 that works. Generally once U apply a crack or what have U it wont work; even if it tells U that UR IP is changed. Just check it. lolz.... Not with one site but against several. U will see what I am saying. If it does work its because they havent caught on 2 U, but they will & once they do UR blacklisted; UR running around thinking UR protected & UR not. lol.... The reason this is not easily achieved is because, U see UR IP is Like UR street address 4 UR house, but UR house is in said town/city; in said state/providence; which is in said country; which is on said continent. UR network operates much the same way. Info [the package[aptlly called a packet/packets]] goes threw the network comes to UR network modem which passes it to UR router then the PC/PS3/Xbox/BlackBerry/iPad, ect, ect,....what ever is connected & asking for information from the other device/devices on the network internal or external. IF U think about it how would U get a package to UR house with out the sender knowing where U live. Well U cant U have 2 use a go-between [said application]. Well if say I was the go-between maybe I got UR package but tell U that I havent. Just like said application tells U that U have whatever IP but dont when U verify. Try it. Sorry I got nothing 4 U on this 1. I see them, but havent tested any. I do have a small Vortex fan made by honeywell I have put my laptop on once. When it was running hot. cooled it down well from 120° down 2 80°. Maybe U have something like this 2 get U through in the mean time. Not a fix but, if U need 2 cool it fast U could try it. What I have been using is a bracket that keeps the laptop from laying flat on the desk. Its just 2 pieces of steel on each end connected by a thinner metal rod. So there is little 2 no contact with that too. With that my temp never exceeds 110°/112° on the hottest summer-days. Those orange pieces R silicone strips I just had lying around, I added them 2 give me a .25" lift even with out the stand, & a no-slip environment. In "IMG_590 U can see a pair of my sunglasses & a quarter next 2 it below the laptop I did that just 2 give U some scale. So U could make Ur own like me or buy 1. Good-Luck. dirty ;p

I have had my laptop since 2008 my battery lasts as long as it did when new 3.5/4 hrs. Just came back 2 say that I cant honestly say the battery isnt drained 100%. I let it die down till almost dead, & Shut it down & remove bat. The only reason I have for this is I dont want 2 crash my OS. 2 the other guyz point electronics with rechargeable lithium ions come from the manufacture with some charge. So I agree that U dont want 2 run it down all the way, but like I said I run mine down nearly dead/fullyDischarged.

Quick answer is no U dont need 2 keep charging the battery. More Detail. I have a HPdv____ laptop with a battery recall that HP doesnt want to replace, so I dont even use that battery. I drained it fully, & leave it tucked away in a drawer 4 easy access. The battery works great, but do 2 the recall I dont use it unless I know I am going to b going out of town. U see thats Y I bought it the laptop; entertainment/school. I dont use it 4 school anymore its 2 big with a 17" monitor. So in short I store that battery. [ Oh, BTW I am boycotting HP dont buy their junk they dont stand behind it, & therefor U shouldnt buy it. I just replace the MoBo, & fought with them 2 replace it considering the known engineering flaws, & lawsuit over the whole thing.] [Just telling U my experience with HP U make UR own decisions.] When the MoBo went on the HP I replaced that laptop with a lenovo I heard good things, & have fix a few 4 friends. I mention this because it has a little utility that U can tweak @ what % U want the battery 2 charge. Could b that dell would have something like this 4 UR machine. Worth a look. Lastly I just mention my own 2 give u more insight. Both of my laptops run with out the battery if i choose. I would imagine URs does 2. 2 test just shut it down [disconnect anything plugged in] remove the battery. Reconnect just the powerCord 2 the jack press power. Hmmm, really U got me. I am just guessing that U would want 2 make an install disk using Ur currently installed info. Ah, I have read about it, but it wasnt what I wanted 2 know so I dont remember much about it. In summary I do believe it is possible, but dont know how. I do remember that I wanted 2 slipStream windows 7 when I came across the info though. Maybe some1 else could shed more light on this. Greetings, & Welcome, Is Ur ? about overclocking? If so most manufacturers have toolz 2 help U do it safely. If it is a custom box then what type of Mobo is it. Upon finding that info U will need 2 know the model #. Then I would check the vendors site & see what they have 4 U. Like I have an MSI board that I am running now. It has an overclocking tool I can access on the fly in windows. Once the GUI comes up I can just tweak it accordingly. I can do the same in Bios. If this was something I was really curios about I would see what otherz R doing [setting] their boards 2 @ an "overclockers" forum. Remember myfriend heat is the enemy so I hope U have lots of cooling. My PC sounds like a wind turbine, but my chips R nice & cool 44°F right now & my FSB is @ 2.9 this is just a dual core but faster than my levono quad core even with the lenovo being overclocked. My benchmark is how long it takes 2 install a program like adobeMasterSuit. Quad core lenovo took 45 mins & My dual core takes 30mins. I am not a true overclocker. I dont even want 2 think of frying my gear so I doubt I can b of any help 2 U. Good luck, dirty ;}

In my own digital world if it [ whatever it is ] doesnt work rite, & I am 100% sure I did whatever it was that I was suppose 2 do with said item properly, & it doesnt work then it is junk, & I move on 2 the next package 2 test. The prior package is discarded/set aside as junk, & I tell the uploader in a post 2 get feedback, & so otherz know 2 b weary. If I dont get a response I report that piece of garbage. If U do that U will not just help UR self, but the other members as well. It takes seconds & even if U happen not 2 login 4 awhile U have helped otherz who knew not 2 waste their time with that junk.
