Half Monk 697 Report post Posted August 11, 2013 Netflix released an update for its Xbox 360 app on Friday, bringing a new interface and the ability to use the streaming service's recently released profiles feature. The console app's new interface places it more in line with the interface used in the company's app for Windows 8 and Windows RT devices, featuring a black background in lieu of the previous dark red. Additionally, users can now switch between profiles by either pressing the "B" or "back" button. Previously, pressing the "B" button would only allow users to select between a regular movie streaming queue and the service's "Just for Kids" area. Though the children's section no longer appears as its own profile option, users can select it by pressing the "X" button. Additionally, parents can monitor and change settings in profiles associated with their accounts to limit the types of content they can view; through the profiles section on the service's website, users can mark a box that relegates profiles to content appropriate for children younger than 12. The update comes a year after the children's section was first added to the Xbox 360 app.
