A Similar incident happened to me last Christmas whilst purchasing a crate of beer from a local supermarket. I was asked if I was 25. "No, I'm 40 actually" I replied and eventually bought the booze. To be honest, I took it light heartedly and as a compliment but I doubt my sense of humour would've been the same if I were a frail 92 year old having to make a trip back home to find some I.D.
