Repairing and changing a cell phone's IMEI

Hey there everyone! I've bought 3 phones recently 2 of which off eBay and all three unluckily ended up being stolen i think as they are all blacklisted (in Australia).

 

I am so surprised that everywhere i look i can't find anyway to change the IMEI of the phone which is the code that Phone Companies use to black list phones. All i see is that "its illegal" and all that.... so is 3/4 of the other stuff that is said on these and other forums hahaha!

 

Does anyone have any knowledge of changing the IMEI. I have an old brick phone i don't really use much anymore, i thought about using that IMEI in the blacklisted phone i used (I am aware only 1 connection with that particular IMEI can be used at a time - but i only need one phone to work!!!)

^^ However in / i cannot find the folder named /EFS anywhere to complete the steps. The phone i am trying to get to work atm is a Android, Motorola Xt502 (smart phone).

 

Any help would be COMPLETELY APPRECIATED, If your gonna say its illegal and not help me i dont care dont waste your time! Besides i paid full price for all the 3 phones and they came with boxing etc... I have tried contacting eBay and the sellers with no success! So this is my next option! Use MY old phone for MY new phone and no one will know. THANKS!

buddy for doing this u need a device called universal serial box and it is vry expensive... i suggest u find a local shop who has this device and u can get ur whole mobile changed (i mean software)... including the imei number, mui, everything can be changed and also it costs u around 10-20 dollars... even i had a sony ericsson s500i set from australia and got it fixed here...

Changing imei is not illegal but changing imei will result in no network approval for ur phone and there will be no network in ur phone

most of these tweaks don't last long.

even i'm searching for a perfect imei changing software..!!

there is a hard intrusion method to bypass the imei number and it needs special hardware to do it... once done u can use ur phone any how u want...

My friend aside from being a computer tech im also a cellphone tech.. You just dont need a software to do the IMEI changing you also need a box to change the IMEI.. or you could request online RPL for the contact service for damage IMEI, but you have to pay for it and you need the box to put back the IMEI with the RPL send to you online.
