  1. Glad you figured it out and thank you for getting back with us letting us know you fixed the issue. We always appreciate it when we get a reply back letting us know that an issue is fixed.
  2. Please follow @linuxuser's advice and install from a flash drive. If you do not have one then you can follow @ponyman's advice and run your setup off of your hard drive. If you still have the ISO file on your hard drive then download and install MagicDisc, mount the iso file and install windows 7 http://www.magiciso.com/tutorials/miso-magicdisc-history.htm
  3. Did you update the cd/dvd drivers? This is what is causing the problem. If the cd/dvd driver is not updated then Windows 7 can't see it correctly. Are you actually just trying to do an update or a clean install? Are you booting from the win7 disc or running setup through XP? Also, are you trying to install 32 bit or 64 bit win7? Based on your system, I would recommend 64 bit.
  4. V, my first thought was that it has an older firmware on it due to him saying it has windows xp on it. There is an updated firmware that now supports windows vista and windows 7. He just needs to be carefull updating the firmware.

How to create custom windows ?

Please specify which windows version you wish to customize and more info onto what you wish to custimize.
  7. What you need to do is go to the manufacturer of the desktop/laptop and see if there are updated drivers. This is usually the easiest/best way to get drivers. You can also create a flash drive installation and once Win7 is installed then hopefully then you can update the driver (doubt it but worth a try) You may also try and update the firmware on your optical drive. Here is the link to your particular optical . Make sure you read the instructions if you decide to go this route. If you fail to follow instructions exactly then you will brick your optical drive. http://www.lg.com/us/support-product/lg-GH22NS50 Last but not least, you can go here and see if you can find the drivers. Just make sure you select the correct manufacturer. (No guarantees on this one) http://www.pcpitstop.com/drivers/download/HL-DT-ST~DVDRAM~GH22NS50.html If you have anymore questions then please do not hesitate to ask.

    a power full formater

junaid hamza, A really good format program is called "Darik's Boot & Nuke" and is easy to use. You will need to create a cd\dvd or flash drive to use this. You can tell it how many swipes to do and type. Be for warned that this can take many, many hours depending one they type and number of swipes you do. That all depends on how efficient you wish to clean. If you are just wanting to wipe the drive to reinstall an OS for yourself then the OS will do just fine or you can simply do a format through DOS promt. Here is the link to Boot & Nuke. Please read all info here before proceeding. http://www.dban.org/

    windows desktop Widgets crashing.

If you suspect that the Daemon tools widget is the problen then you need to go ahead and uninstall it to verify this is the problem. Daemon tools is easy to re-install. The least I would do is just disable the Daemon widget and see if the others crash. If not, then it is the Daemon widget or you have too many running at one time using memory like @vigneshnallamad is stating. Also, is there anything else that you might have done recently that might have also caused this issue? Last but not least, how much memory does your laptop have?

    SEARCH ERRORS

search this way; Twilight Saga Breaking Dawn anything else that has letters and/or numbers that are less than 4 will give you the error. examples are "the" "and" "123" or less So you would leave out what is in bold/italic - The Twilight Saga Breaking Dawn Part 1 (2011) and would not even need to put in the "Part" and "(2011)"

    [SOLVED] BSOD when installing windows

The problem that @oneoone was having was a BSOD even after formating the HDD. This paticular situation was that it was faulty RAM. We ended up PMing each other on this and I suggested to remove one of the 2 memory sticks and try installing windows. If problem still happened then to swap out the memory sticks and try again. What this did was indicate that one of the sticks was faulty and once the bad stick was removed then it allowed @oneoone to install windows.

can't create or leave homegroup win 7x64

It sounds like it is not compatible. Best thing to do is get your model # (it will be something like this PSAW3U-1F903C) and use exact replacement.
