Danm 20 Report post Posted August 2, 2012 I have an old pc that had a hd crash. My problem is I can't find drivers for my sound card. It is a Guillemot maxi sound muse card. Every place I have found has an exe file to run that wants a serial number, which I don't have. Anyone know where I can find the drivers I need for XP system? All I can add is that you make a full backup of your system before starting work on the drivers as they are notoriously tricky and can mess up the computer. The general advice about drivers is, "If it ain't broke don't fix it". But since it's "broke" in your case, you're doing right to fix it, only take all precautions.
