Danm 20 Report post Posted January 26, 2014 It seems I'm here every other day asking for help, but here I am again. I was getting an error that I had a fake serial ( which was true) so I was going to uninstall IDM and try again. Here is where the problems started. It seems that no matter what I do I can't fully delete IDM from my system. My OS is win 7 by the way. I used Your uninstaller software first, but did not get it all, which it does a great job most of the time. I used regedit to delete it, but still did not get it. When I reboot my machine there it is again with it's error messages. Does anyone know how to completely delete this thing, and can I reinstall it again? Thanks for any help
Catman_29 294 Report post Posted January 26, 2014 Have you tried Revo? Works pretty well for me. Don't forget to go to "Forced Uninstall" and try key words, like "IDM" or "download" then read VERY CAREFULLY what it brings up and delete any related files. Also, make sure to use CCleaner to get rid of leftovers. Then REBOOT! Good luck! http://www.revouninstaller.com/revo_uninstaller_free_download.html http://www.piriform.com/ccleaner/download
