Can USB 2.0 device been read in USB 3.0 port?

Can USB 2.0 device been read in USB 3.0 port?

Please give me a quick reply thank you!

I was wondering isnt it my USB 3.0 port have been spoiled.

seng, all USB 3.0's are backward compatable. If you are having problems, then uninstall usb drivers and reinstall. But before u do that, plug your 2.0 device in another usb port on computer or a different computer to verify that 2.0 device still works.

yes should work...test with another usb port, or different PC, if possible, to rule out port issue.

Yes it does. I have usb 3.0, It's very fast and works with anything even 1.1 usb

If usb 3 port can't read any USB 2 drive, it would be mess and not usefull.

USB 3 is new thing, it have many advantages (especially speed) but in the market full of USB 2 device
