DPGDawg 0 Report post Posted February 24, 2012 I installed a copy of Win 7 as a Dual Boot on my Vista comp. Everything went fine and the Win 7 works fine But now when I boot into Vista it says its an Illegal copy and I need to Activate it But its not , it came with the comp It still works fine and updates and everything , its just that the message pops up every 5 secs and is really annoying and I think it messes with my mouse Is there a fix for this without uninstalling the Win 7 or is that my only solution ? Thanks for any help

parker216 101 Report post Posted February 29, 2012 LOL! I was wondering why you would want to use Vista anyway! Unless you have a specific reason, or just to learn multi-boot. It sounds like your Master Boot Record got corrupted.
