Tech 425 3,942 Report post Posted May 15, 2012 Boot into safe mode (do this of a cold boot - disconnect all power for 5-10 minites) - (when you start you computer right after bios screen start pressing F8) then goto windows safe mode with networking support. Then start browser and type into Google "Online Virus Scan" I would first run Eset online scan then run a few more. Make sure you run from good companys. After you fix your system I would get a better anti virus scanner and also add SpyBot. Hope this helps and also scan everything as I don't fully trust ondemand scanners.

dirtylow 188 Report post Posted May 17, 2012 I don't have a solution just yet, I had checked back & U didn't comment @ the time so I thought this was solved. Anyway that has happened 2 me also. & I think I just restored a BAK. Thats my thing I hate PC problems so I always make a BAK. Should a problem arise I might, & I mean might try 2 trouble shoot it. But I generally just restore the BAK because it only takes 20 minutes to do. I could setup the restore make a cup of coffee talk 2 the family or a friend & when I come back 2 the PC its all fixed nice-nice 4 me. I cant hunt down a solution that quickly & apply it so I don't even try. Plus sometimes the fix doesn't even work, so by trying it I just made things worse & then have 2 undo it. Now I am not speaking about System Restore I don't use it, but I would do it on some1 elses PC though. lolz... I am speaking about Ghost or Acronis. I haven't heard any bad things about Win Restore image service, but I haven't looked in2 it either. Anyway if U R still having this problem I would start with the drivers for the inputDevises check-em out. Maybe try different input devises. Also R they cordless maybe batteries. But start by checking the drivers & maybe update them could be corrupt.

dirtylow 188 Report post Posted July 25, 2012 There are 57,000,000 answers to this same "?" How much time do U have 2 solve this. I don't know about U but I don't want 2 try each 1. Did U add a program just before this problem like i.e. "Advanced System Care _ from IOBIT software" if so that is the culprit. U have 2 go in2 its config 2 tell it 2 ignore the clipboard cache when it does it's memory management tasks. Otherwise it kills copy/paste functionality totally. The above is the hard way going through each solution 1 by 1. In the end non of them might not work. Then what? So why not work backward like I suggested B4? I don't have a solution just yet, I had checked back & U didn't comment @ the time so I thought this was solved. Anyway that has happened 2 me also. & I think I just restored a BAK. Thats my thing I hate PC problems so I always make a BAK. Should a problem arise I might, & I mean might try 2 trouble shoot it. Anyway if U R still having this problem I would start with the drivers for the inputDevises check-em out. Maybe try different input devises. Also R they cordless maybe batteries. But start by checking the drivers & maybe update them could be corrupt. Ok so U tried what 425 said, but did U try what I said B4? I told U that a Bak is the way 2 go. Check & update the drivers 4 UR input devices. Or 2 try different input devices. Try booting in safe mode does the problem persist? Why don't / didn't U take my advise B4. U could have fixed this already. Even if U don't have a Bak if U do a clean install of Win_ on another HDD or partition & U still have the problem then U will know that UR Hardware [MoBo] is failing. U could be living on borrowed time & don't even know it. I don't care if UR gear is new. New stuff fails too. If that is the case U should find out sooner rather than later. While it is under warranty. If its older gear & not under warranty then U still new 2 know ASAP so U can find UR next rig & put it together or buy it what ever U choose do. Don't chase mystery bugs that U may or may not have. Fix the problem. 1st eliminate that possibility of hardware failure. Then decide do U want to chase down bugs or rebuild. I know I have 90 programs installed & from previous build I know that it will take me about 8Hrs to manually install & configure them. If UR really sharp U can automate this & do it unattended. I am not that sharp so I make Baks. That is my automation. If I have a problem right now I can restore my Bak & be up & running in 20/30 minutes. That's is with all 3 of my booting partition [8,7, & XP] & all of the 60/80/90 programs, & updates each retrospectively intact along with my custom settings. Listen if U have been running that build 4 more that 2 years U should be making plans to reformat anyway. This time when U do so do it smart. Only install what U want/need. Stay off the WWW as much as possible while building. Make some Baks in step while U build. Next time U have this or any other problem that solution will B easy. Restore UR Bak. Then if the problem persists U can trouble shoot from there.
Half Monk 697 Report post Posted July 26, 2012 I Think It Caused By "Advanced System Care _ from IOBIT" u Say "so that is the culprit" SO How TO Do that. and u say why u don't take my advice. i don't have engough space to make backup. i have 660 gb hard disk.Free space only 79.02. UR Word:-[] Is mine I told U that a Bak is the way 2 go. [i Said] Check & update the drivers 4 UR input devices. [it's All Updated] Or 2 try different input devices.[Not Possible] Try booting in safe mode does the problem persist? [done i got same] u say reFormat Ur Pc .i Format my pc in minmum 3 month. My All hardware i buyed 5-5-2011. So Tell Me How To deal with "Advance windows care" it's good for me but not for my pc.. Thanks For Reply..
Vignesh Nallamad 209 Report post Posted July 26, 2012 clipboard cache is disabled i think so u try using secondary app like teracopy to do the job...
dirtylow 188 Report post Posted July 27, 2012 U have 2 go in2 its config 2 tell it 2 ignore the clipboard cache when it does it's memory management tasks. "Otherwise it kills copy/paste functionality totally". Open the app. Click on "ToolBox" Then click on "Optimize" Click on "SmartRam" Click on "Settings" Lastly Un-check "Clean ClipBoard" Thats it U should B done, & now B able 2 copy & paste again . Enjoy, dirtylow
