I added an image to the chatbox and didn't need the bits. The spoiler and code do not work if you highlight and try to code what is highlighted. If you click code you get a popup in which to enter what you need to code. If going to edit a coded section in a post double click the coded bit and you'll get the popup so you can edit.

Sorry, not a fan of change ... as it takes me a while to get used to something new. But, the new look is interesting and the board seems to load faster, now. Just ... will take some time to find where everything is, now.

Today, we are pleased to release XenForo 1.4.2. This release fixes a number of bugs and issues that were found since the release of 1.4.0. As this is a maintenance release, the vast majority of the focus was an increase in stability. However, there have been several minor improvements: The IP of the user submitting a "Contact Us" form is now displayed in the email sent to the forum contact. The "Contact Us" form can use the 1.3-style method of headers with the "Sender info in From header on contact emails" option. This can be useful when sending contact emails to a Gmail account which may not always respect the Reply-To header as expected. Added support for Google's new Search Sitelinks mark up. When a user has received warnings leading to a ban until the warning points expire, the ban expiration date will now be calculated and displayed to the user. Some of the bugs fixed in 1.4.2 include: Fixed display of the "hamburger" icon in the navigation in iOS8 Fix the cursor appearing erroneously after replying to a thread in iOS8 Don't autofocus file inputs to avoid iOS8 incompatibilities Improve performance of the online status indicator Allow years to be selected far in the future in the date picker Disable IP resolution on the moderated users list due to performance issues Reduce the amount of user information available to the "quick" session activity list to reduce memory issues Add a new _getRegistrationInputDataSafe method to the registration controller that caches the _getRegistrationInputData method (which is not idempotent); the new method can be called multiple times Check banned status before checking general viewing permissions Disable overlay scrolling on absolutely positioned overlays (mostly for mobile devices) Fix the date input appearing unexpectedly when clicking cancel in an overlay Fix several JS and URL issues relating to running XenForo on an IDN Improve pasting of tabular content into the rich text editor Fixed editor issue where an entire paragraph could be removed when inserting an auto-completed username Disable the rich text editor for Windows Phone due to cursor issues Adjust the sitemap builder to lock the files and to flush them to prevent potential corruption Fix a timezone-specific issue in the statistics where the final selected day would not always be displayed Fix a race condition that could prevent a conversation from being marked as read Prevent an SQL error if a user has 65,535 unread alerts Prevent an SQL error from overly long warning messages Prevent an error when reading bounce messages from empty IMAP mailboxes Fixed a situation where the attachment file selector would appear behind the browser window in Firefox Fixed a situation where the attachment list wouldn't be hidden when there were no attachments Move "inherit" rules outside of style properties/into the extra component when set via the template system Fixed tooltip positioning over avatars in the sidebar of the notable members page Fixed tooltip positioning for "remove all filters" in the thread list Prevent a possible error if using the bulk like removal on an orphaned like Updated URLs in the cookie notice describing clearing cookies for some browsers See the Resolved Bug Reports forum for further information. The following templates have had changes: conversation_list member_notable member_warn navigation.css PAGE_CONTAINER thread_list Where necessary, the merge system within the "Outdated Templates" page should be used to integrate these changes. More Stable This release follows our principle that third-point (x.x.X) releases should always be more stable than the preceding version, so for the most part you will not find new features in this release. Major new features will be reserved for second point versions (x.X.x) https://www.mediafire.com/?jtz6wov2vjr3klq

Most of us don’t have time to discover all the ins and outs of the software we use on a daily basis. We learn on the fly, we occasionally pick up a tip or shortcut, and we grudgingly plow through the Help system when we absolutely have to. But sometimes, just a few little tricks can make a big difference. Turning off an annoying feature, learning a keyboard trick that bypasses three dialog boxes, or taking advantage of an obscure option can save you a few headaches and a lot of time. Will they really change your life? Well that might be a stretch. But they could. Try these tips on for size and let me know. 1: Make vertical text selections Usually, we select text horizontally — a word, a series of words, a paragraph — from left to right or vice versa. But sometimes the selection has to be vertical. For instance, suppose you wanted to delete the leading characters in Figure A. Figure A To make a vertical selection, hold down [Alt] as you drag down through the text you want to highlight. Figure B shows the column of unwanted characters selected using this technique. Hit [Delete] and bam, they’re gone. Figure B Although we selected text at the beginning of the lines in this example, you can make vertical selections anywhere on the page. Note: Some users have reported that the Research pane appears when they try this selection technique. Here’s the secret: Release the [Alt] key before you let up on the mouse button. Word should retain the selection. If you hold down [Alt] but release the mouse button, Word may think “[Alt]-click” and open the Research pane in response. 2: Undo automatic changes you don’t want By default, Word imposes lots of changes on the text you enter in a document. For example, it might convert a Web address to a hyperlink, replace straight apostrophes and quotation marks with their curly counterparts, or turn a pair of hyphens into an em dash. If that’s a welcome convenience, you’re in good shape. If you want to suppress those types of changes, you can disable them. But if you want to prevent those changes only from time to time, reach for the Undo command — [Ctrl]Z. Undo isn’t just for reversing something you’ve done; it also undoes some of the actions Word takes. Don’t want that em dash? When Word inserts it, hit [Ctrl]Z and change it back to the hyphens you intended to enter. 3: Get rid of a persistent border Word offers a sometimes-handy option that lets you insert a border automatically. Type three hyphens on a blank line and press [Enter]. If the option is enabled, Word will replace the hyphens with a horizontal line. You can get rid of it if you press [Ctrl]Z after Word inserts it (see above). But if you try to select the border and delete it, you’re out of luck. You’re not dealing with a line object here. Word has applied the Bottom Border format to the paragraph. To remove that format in Word 2003, click in the paragraph and choose No Border from the Borders drop-down list on the Formatting menu. In Word 2007/2010, click in the paragraph and then click the Border button in the Paragraph group of the Home tab. Just select No Border from the drop-down list (Figure C). Figure C 4: Move selected text up or down This tip is probably most useful when you’re working in a table, although you can use it to reorder paragraphs outside a table, too. Let’s say you decide you want the third row of a table to be the top row. Just click within the third row, hold down [Alt][shift] and press the up arrow key twice. Each time you press the arrow key, Word will move the row up one. You can select multiple contiguous rows to move them as a block, and you can use the down arrow key if you want to move text down instead of up. Using this shortcut gets a little tricky if you’re moving big pieces of text outside a table. It’s easy to lose track of what’s being relocated where, and you might find it easier to take a standard cut-and-paste approach in those situations. But when the text is small and manageable, the shortcut is great. For example, if you need to move an item up or down within a bulleted or numbered list, you can just click in the item’s paragraph and use the [Alt][shift] and arrow key combo to move the item to the desired spot. 5: Save changes to all open Word documents at one time This simple technique comes in handy when you’re working in multiple documents and want to make sure you’ve saved your changes to all of them. I actually use it most often when I’ve made a change to a template and want a quick way to save that change on the fly (before I’ve had a chance to forget I made a change I want to keep). In Word 2003 and earlier, just press the [shift] key and pull down the File menu. Word will display the Save All command on the menu, above the Save As command. Choose Save All and Word will prompt you to save each document (or template) that has any unsaved changes. This is more efficient than having to navigate to each document individually and click Save. If you use Word 2007/2010, this won’t work. But you can add the Save All command to your Quick Access Toolbar: Click the Office button (File in 2010) and click Word Options (Options in 2010). Click Customize in the left-hand column (Quick Access Toolbar in 2010). Select Commands Not In The Ribbon from the Choose Commands From drop-down list. Scroll down and select Save All. Click the Add button and then click OK.

Please note that DVDFab uses a Fair Use Licence which allows people to make copies of their bluray's for personal use only. -------------------------------------------------------------------------- So you have just started to get a pretty impressive collection of Blu-ray titles together after upgrading from DVD, (for those who don't know, there is a massive difference in picture and audio quality) but you want peace of mind in knowing that should you lose/ badly scratch/ lend to a forgetful friend, your prized films, that you at least have a decent digital back-up of it or them. The main thing you need to realise, is that depending on the quality of the rip you are going to need a decent amount of space (a blu-ray rip can be anywhere between 2GB to 20GB in size depending on the desired quality) on your hard drive or external drive. Disk space these days is getting cheaper and cheaper, so a quick check over at Amazon or wherever you chose should be a good place to find affordable storage for a good price. I have about 4TB at the moment, but with photography (RAW files) and backing up my DVD and Blu-ray collections, that isn't enough. Please note that DVDFab only supports Window 7/ Vista and XP. Right, for this tutorial I will be using DVDFab Blu-ray Ripper (I have tried quite a few, and this is by far the best and easiest to use) which you can purchase here. The program only currently costs £36.90 ($60.00) which is a small price for backing up your collection. It will also deal with any current blu-ray protection/ CSS encryption your disk may have and also supports NVIDIA Cuda and multi-core processors, so the converting speed is very fast. I am also assuming that you have a blu-ray drive attached to your computer (dumb question I know but a lot of people still try to play blu-rays on their DVD players or on their computers DVD drive) These are also coming down in price a lot these days and can be picked up for £47.95 ($60.00) for a DVD/RW (read and write bluray player) on Amazon but prices are always coming down. Right, for this tutorial I will be ripping my copy of The Dark Knight that I bought last year to a 1080p MKV file. You can choose to make the final file smaller by changing the encoding if you wish to say AVI/ MP4 etc. Also note that you can also rip and convert your bluray for use on your Xbox 360, PS3, iPod/ iPhone/ iPad. Audio wise, it can rip that to formats such as MP3, MP4, M4A, WMA, WAV, AC3 and DTS. I just wanted to have a decent copy of mine for those 'just-in-case' moments as it is a great film and needs to be seen & heard in hi-def, so I chose to rip mine to MKV with H264 and AC3 audio. The final result was a 8.16GB MKV file, and amazing in quality. Very impressed with the program. Once you have bought your copy of DVDFab and installed it (make sure your bluray disk is in the tray ready), open it up and you will be greeted by the main screen as shown below: And then straight away the program will locate your disk and ask you to specify the blu-ray disks region code. As I am in Europe I chose 'B'. Depending on where you are in the world this will vary. Once you have selected your region code the program will immediately start to read the disk as shown below. This only take about 10 seconds to scan. Now you will come to the main screen where you get to choose how you want to rip your blu-ray, the type of format you want it in, the codec you want to use and the audio. I chose MKV format (It stands for Matroska and is the container for the video) H264 (Codec and highly recommended) and AC3, (multichannel digital audio) but you may choose as you wish. If you are going to watch this on your Xbox 360, iPad, iPhone, iPod or PS3 then the choices are made for you as these devices only play with certain preferred formats. As you can see in the image below when you click on Blu-ray ripper on the left, it will give you the option for MKV. Select this and you will then notice that in the 'Profile' box at the bottom that I have been given 3 profile choices for this particular film (this will vary on the film) I chose mkv.h264.ac3 (the default for the MKV profile was mkv.remux) Also in the middle section you will see the option to choose which section of the disk you want to rip. Again by default, the program chose the longest section (main film) which is all I wanted. If you want any subtitles also included, then just check the languages you want included, and they will be outputted into an idx/ sub file or directly rendered to video. I chose 'Extract to idx/ sub file. You can chose which way it handles subtitles/ Encoding method, (1 or 2 pass) Video Format, Bit rate etc by clicking the 'Edit' button at the bottom of the main window Here's the Conversion settings window when you click the 'edit' button: By clicking 'Video Effect Settings' button in this window you can choose to crop, resize or change the aspect ratio. I chose not to touch any of these and just let the program do it's thing. I left these alone, but you may want to experiment with them. At the very top of the main window, you can also change where the final MKV file will be placed. I chose to change the default location and instead created a folder on my desktop called TDK and have it placed in there. I much prefer having most things on my desktop, so I don't have to go hunting for them later. If you are after a more detailed explanation on what the other conversion settings do, then the people at DVDFab have created a useful guide. You can also click on the 'Green Tick' at the top of the main window for more settings. Once you are happy with your choices, just hit 'Start' at the bottom. It can take a long time to rip and transcode a blu-ray, so go watch a film or read a book and let the program work. To rip and transcode my blu-ray with the settings I wanted it took about 2.5hrs. This will vary a lot with other peoples computers depending on specs. The more RAM you have will help a lot, as will a fast processor. When the disk has been ripped you will get the final window: That's it, you're done!

For many users, it becomes necessary to not just delete confidential files permanently, but to shred them to avoid file recovery. While there are a number of handy file shredding applications for Windows, Zer0 is perhaps the most minimalist of them all. It is a user friendly file shredder, which can delete files securely to make them unrecoverable. It provides a convenient drag and drop utility and allows instantly shredding files in a single click. Zer0′s high level security algorithm makes it impossible to recover deleted files by conventional recovery tools, and the deletion process itself is lightning fast. During testing, we spcified a 573MB file for deletion with Zer0, and it was deleted in a split second. The tool makes use of multiple system cores, and hence, provides maximum efficiency, without hanging the application. To delete files, simply launch Zer0 and drag/drop them onto the main interface. Click Delete to shred the files. All specified files will be deleted in no time. It is worth mentioning here that while Zer0 is a very efficient, yet minimalist file shredder, we would not recommend shredding very heavy files to avoid straining your hard drive. Before shredding a file, you can determine the weight of the files that you are shredding from the Size column of Zer0. Once a file is deleted, it is marked as OK beneath the Messagecolumn. If you want a file shredder with more advanced file shredding options, then check out Freeraser. Zer0 works on Windows XP, Windows Vista and Windows 7. http://www.kcsoftwares.com/index.php?zero
